This is obviously not for everyone but this represents a clear saving over the extortionate cost of modern dentistry.

Completely agree.Dentists are right up there with the bankers, they need reeling in and putting in their place!

agree the titanium implant cast 10 - labour 30 min crown 40 total should be 150_200 quid as in hungray and sa

If I was to have one of these I would travel abroad as you can probably get a free holiday and the work done for the exactly the same cost.

Seems those clever scientists have found away for us to grow our own replacement teeth
So in about 5-10 years this will be the standard

source?

Thanks for adding that cburns. Had not heard this news but just googled and was an interesting reading. Imagine growing a new tooth in 9 wks! Dentures and implants would be a thing of the past

sometimes a deal is too good to be true - take a look on the General Dental Council website under GDC registration number 83727 Dalbinder Singh Grewal - this guy is registered with conditions until Feb 2014 - i do not know why, but I understand why he called me back in the evening. I dont know about anyone else but I would not trust this guy with my money and the health of my mouth.

Chickensrule - Had a look at the GDC website as suggested - not sure but I think the conditions have been extended !!! What do you mean by 'but I understand why he called me back in the evening' ?

Be careful, my son desperately needs an implant due to an ice hockey accident, he lost his 3 front teeth which were placed back in but are now going black. Went to see the Winchester one., all was good, said he was eligible, great, waited for the letter in writing itemising everything. It never came so I started phoning, dentist was off sick but would get back to me. Phoned at least 4 times, after 3 months kinda got the message they didn't want to know. Sent them an email asking why they wouldn't honour the deal or at least get back to me and explain why, they never bothered (I know they got the email as I had a tracker on it)

Dear all. I'm am the Dentist Being discussed here. I have conditions due to losing my driving licence due to driving whilst just over the legal alcohol limit in 2010. There are no clinical reasons for my conditions and as such my dental skills have never been in question. The general dental council looks at this very seriously, as is rightly so. I am trying hard to provide good Dental a Implants at an affordable price.
I hope that those of you that read this do think carefully about some comments people have written here. I only ask that you be fair and gather all the facts before making a negative judgement which will affect my life and career.

Can I just add something here? Because I've actually been a patient of this dentist. Yes, I admit I approached an implant with some trepidation. For sure, I'm a member of the 'if it looks too good to be true, it probably is' school. However, in the end, it's so expensive elsewhere, I thought I'd give it a try. I can honestly say that I couldn't have been more pleased. The work was carried out efficiently, painlessly, not to mention, with a great deal of sensitivity bearing in mind this was a new experience for me. I now have a nice new tooth that looks and feels for all the world like a real one. If you're thinking of having this done, I highly recommended the Winchester Dental Practice.

so superman8 why did you not answer my numerous calls?
