This gets you the main game which is soon going to be free to play and renamed as New Light.
It also gets you the Curse of Osiris DLC, Warmind DLC and then the large Forsaken DLC.
in short this contains:

New Light (free to play from 17th September)
Curse of Osiris (free to play from 17th September)
Warmind (free to play from 17th September)
Forsaken

You will need the annual pass (was £12 in recent PSN sale) to get the next 3 DLC packs which are:

Season of the Forge (Black Armoury & Scourge of the Past raid)
Season of the Drifter (Gambit Prime & Reckoning)
Season of Opulence (Menagerie & Crown of Sorrow raid)

Shadowkeep is not included in the annual pass as it is another large expansion dlc like Forsaken. There will also be a new annual pass as well when Shadowkeep comes out in September

I’m always confused with destiny. I played it when it first came out maxed my level then left the game. If I buy this will I have all the content in the game to date?

Yep, I bought one last week and it gave me everything but the new DLC that comes out. Only wanted it for Forsaken, and at that price it’s a steal

This is exactly the info I needed, you should work for Bungie
Quick question for regular players, me and my mate picked up Destiny a week or so ago, really wanting to like it but just not really getting the point of the game to date. Mostly through the story (far too easy, overpowered by the 2nd or 3rd mission), what comes after that keeps people so engaged with the game? Thanks!
there gonna be problems getting people to join you doing some of the raids and missions ?

The real game is when you reach the endgame stage. Building your character how you want, getting more powerful gear, and completing endgame activities like Nightfall strikes (three player co-op with tougher modifiers) and also raids which are where six players take on a high level challenge for the chance at some of the most exclusive loot.

It basically comes down to whether you get hooked on the core "shoot and loot" mechanics of the game. It is like crack for me, but your mileage may vary.
Can't get this on Xbox at a decent price at the moment, Shopto is £50 and everywhere else is similar or sold out
Thanks Op! Been waiting for a good deal for this. Was sick of being stuck at level 30 holding people back
