Good price but if you pay anything for this game you're getting ripped off...

Just another classic Activision title that lacks content and makes you buy DLC to unlock the actual game
Good price.... I won't get this game after the way they force all the DLC upon the community... Played the first but i won't be duped again...

Rainbow Six Siege has been going close to 2 years...new maps and updates are all free...

Sorry for the rant..

Completely agree loving Rainbow atm
Just remember that you won't be able to do much with the base game. You will have to buy the DLC's in order to properly play the game.
Activision is removing content from the base game (this) and adds it to the (paid) DLCs . Soon this will not worth a penny

And yes, they have gone as far as making you pay twice for the same content...

Well worth £25. I easily got 80 hours out of this game (only slightly less than the first game but that was after 3 DLCs I think?). DLC is a bit expensive for what it is but lots of game for the money.

The people who complain about this game tend to be the people who will often play a single game for 1000+ hours. If you're the kind of person who plays games like that then in its current state - this isn't for you.

If like me, £25 for 80 hours of entertainment seems like good value to you - Buy it - you won't regret it.

They changed that with the most recent update - the only thing that is locked out to DLC only is the prestige nightfall. Everything else can be played with just the base game (obvious exceptions being the maps / story that was added with the DLC)

Alright Activision fanboy, until people stop supporting these shoddy practises by companies like EA/Activision they will continue to rip people off and throw out half assed games knowing full well you’ll have to buy the DLC to play.

Don't get me wrong, Ubisoft are terrible as well, but they deserve applause for letting R6 run like that.

It's the perfect compromise really. All DLC is free, season pass owners get boosts/advanced access, revenue generated from sale of purely cosmetic items. Alpha Packs (lootcrates) are earned for free on a chance system, or using in game credits to get more - all cosmetic items again.

D2 is a joke. Locking out base game content and then apologising as though it wasn't intentional.

It did when the dlc launched. They patched it yesterday so only the Prestige Nightfall is currently unplayable without the dlc.
Do you think this might be a day of Xmas deal? Looking for digital having missed the last ones.

Might just get two

No need to get stressed and start name calling... Like I said - I'm happy with my purchase, if you're not - fair enough. For me though, the 80 hours I got for the £40 I paid for the game is good value to me.

I buy Blu Rays for £10+ for 2 hours of entertainment and very rarely re watch them though so maybe I enjoy 'wasting' money - though you could say the movie studios are ripping us off because they don't keep releasing free special features
Anyway - to each their own. Feel free to not play the game / DLC if you don't want to
Yes but when purchasing a film you don't 't have to pay extra in order to unlock the best parts

fk bungie. Not going to see another penny from me until they fix their pvp game.

Base game is dead.
I remember then the Destiny fanboys called me every name under the sun for saying this game will end up more of the same...

Who's laughing now?

I personally do struggle earning renown in R6 to unlock Operators as I'm not the best player and don't get much time to play as some but can't justify spending money on Season Passes or PlayStation store credit to unlock them. Love the game tho.. can't wait for season 3 content

Mr Dealio,

Sorry if you already know bit do you do daily and weekly challenges?

You can rack up some decent renown that way...

You can also keep an eye out for the season pass coming cheap... I think I got season 1 for a reasonable price somewhere around half price... it was a while ago. Not sure if season 2 will be on offer.

I know this is paying for DLC, and I rarely do, but it's a years worth of content in terms of characters...

Yeah I do those, only get between 150/250 per one tho. Year One operators are half the R6 credits ATM but to buy them with PlayStation store credit would be about £15

hmm they've tweaked a few things i cant get a footing in the crucible and two days ago i was rolling double sixes at monopoly. I cant be that rusty after just two days?!

Save your cash..

I would try and get the season one or two pass... you should get one per that amount or so.. plus you get 600 R6 credits.. or you did with season pass one.

You get all that seasons operators then..

But some of the base operators are still the best...
Lots of people on here who are giving their opinion without actually playing the game it seems, or at least in any depth. They are welcome to their opinion, it’s a free world.

Having played the game a lot I can say that it is a damn great game. Lots of content and although some higher tier stuff is locked unless you get the DLC, which costs about £15 for both the one just released and the next in spring 2018, the amount locked out is minimal and there is still loads to do. Take a look if you like. Don’t feel put off by the hate.

Same man, it's a long slog. I have a friend who plays most days and so for him unlocking the Ops can be done pretty quickly, even though he isn't the highest skill level either, juist has the time.

I just think it's a great system personally!
I quite liked D2 for about 50 hours which makes it pretty good value. I never really played D1 much. Irrespective of issues, the shooting mechanics are fantastic. Not played it since and haven't even played the DLC which I have - too busy playing Assassin Creed and Horizon Zero Dawn (again).

Skill Up does some really detailed reviews and you could even watch his fantastic Destiny review as well -

But anyone new will not get 80+ hours, not with the level caps raising for the new DLC. ( a right rip off ).
