Beware that you have to buy expansions to 'play' this 'game'. If you don't buy them, you'll be locked out of all new content and you'll be in an empty wilderness on your own. The mechanics of this game are loaded against the player and designed to make you grind and spend a fortune in micro and macrotransactions if you actually want to get any enjoyment or balance from it.

Why this game hasn't attracted the ire Battlefront 2 has and why Bungie haven't be slated as much as EA have I don't know because they certainly deserve it.

Good price considering the PC version is only a few months old...however a not so good game!
This "game" got me off gaming for three months.
Again, great price but the most underwhelming game I've ever desperately wanted to be overwhelming. Damn it bungie.. damn it all to hell

voted cold as no one should be encouraged to buy this game - irrespective of whether it is a cheap price. Budgie needs to get the message that customers should not be fleeced by selling out the name of what was a great game - ie the orginal Destiny. This is just a con trick.
I felt let down when I bought the Digital Deluxe version of Destiny 1 before release, and the game became outdated with the release of Taken King. So glad I didn't buy in to Destiny 2 - by the sound of it, Bungie screwing over its customers only got worse!
Got this free with my GTX1080, installed and played up to level 17, uninstalled, got my 42 gig back and will never play again, will wait for Borderlands 3 if i want a fps loot type game that will actually engage me story wise and have a interesting world to roam about in.
Destiny 1 ended up been one of the best games ever. Who knows destiny 2 might overcome its current problems. I'd hold off buying it until the sort their game out in September this year.

That's a bit OTT. You are only locked out of the heroic strikes which is being patched back in on Jan 30th. While you where locked out of the prestige raid, trials and faction events as well they have already been patched back in to the base game.

So if you choose not to buy the DLC then you only miss the DLC nothing else. The microtractions are an issue but you are not forced to buy any, why do you need an exotic ship or sparrow? The ghosts maybe for those perks not available in-game but that's it.

Destiny 2 has far worse problems then DLC or microtransactions. Would I buy it for £20? Yes I would. It's an enjoyable experience especially if you are new to Destiny or never played the Taken King. The beauty of Destiny 2 in it's current state is you will be done with it in 30hrs max and you can easily move on.

Wpuld I buy tbe DLC? NO. Play other games in tbe meantime then go back in September when it gets a real content drop including the two current expansions chucked in for free.

It's 'problems' are caused deliberately by, for example, charging for shaders, then backsliding, and saying things like "we hear you" or "we're listening" when gaming community is up in arms. Entirely of Bungie's own making and caused purely by greed.

Bit more to it than that. And we're just at the first expansion. Imagine at end of year 1 and you've only got the base game.

Didn't expect this to be so low from a proper retailer so soon. I'll probably hold out until it's a tenner or so play through the campaign.

Bungie has got a lot of hate over the state of Destiny 2.

At this stage and state of the gaming industry i am actually quite happy to miss any and all of the so called AAA titles because i am really not missing anything, D2 was not even on my radar and i would not even have looked at it if it were not for the fact it was free, just a shame they decided to lock the game code to your card, devious swines, stopped me from selling it on. lol

It's already 12 quid in tesco on ps4 and xbox one.
I’d actually take a punt on this if it was an instant code. Who can be arsed to wait for the postman in 2018?
