Good amount of content for £16 if it launched at that price but I am not sure you get season of undying content with that given we are now in season of dawn and that requires an additional pass

Season of undying is obsolete now. The way they do seasons now mean if you come to the game after it, you've missed it. So vex invasions are gone. We have the sundial activity instead for this season.
Also I think it's worth pointing out for anyone coming back to the game after a while away that the quests are all very grindy and really repetitive now (and this is coming from someone who has been with the Destiny franchise from the start).
It's so grindy that after 5 years I've pretty much moved on because it's just mind numbing now.
I platinumed this when it came out but stopped playing after so haven't bought any dlc. does this bring my up to date?

I thought that, but given I’ve already got the annual pass I wasn’t exactly sure what was missing. They still get the Eris quests and bounties though? That’s Shadowkeep content?

Tbh missing out on the Vex offensive is hardly a loss given the community’s response.

£16 for the raid and dungeon plus a few extra strikes ain’t bad when the base game is free

They made the base game free to play. This would buy you the most recent raid, the dungeon and a new story mode. I’m not sure if you get the Forsaken raid and content.

Yes you're right. They get shadowkeep and are getting season of the dawn included with the price (so Osiris and Saint 14 story with the sundial activity). The dawning event is free for all so that's not part of the price but an event that is usually well received anyway!

Yes I quit the undying season a few weeks before the end. Vex offensive didn't have that good a loot pool and the undying mind having the same mechanics was a big meh moment for me

I'm one of these crazy people who plays across PS4 (main account where I own shadowkeep deluxe) then pc (I own basic shadowkeep) and Xbox one X (just the free version of D2) too. So I can see that on Xbox one I can't do activity on the moon and forsaken destinations but I can actually play the season of the dawn storyline activities as the season pass transfers across platforms (which is why I only bought shadowkeep on pc and not the full deluxe version). As long as you buy the season passes on your main account it transfers to the others. But the main dlc like forsaken or shadowkeep need to be purchased on each platform as that is a lot more content. At £17 it's a decent price.

I know you didn't need that length reply but it may make things clearer for someone wondering later on in this posts life 🙈 although reading back I don't know if it does help

No, I'm just playing other games that I hadn't got around to playing before because I was spending most of my gaming time grinding Destiny. I'm currently playing through God of War. Still got Assassins Creed Odyssey, Shadow of Tomb Raider, Division 2, Resident Evil 2, Death Stranding and a few others to get through along with a lot of VR games

If you're looking for other loot shooters, The Division 2 is pretty good (and is on sale for under £10 atm I believe).

There's also Warframe, which is free to play. I'd actually put this down as one of the games I've had the most fun with over the last few years. They kinda did what Bungie were supposed to do with Destiny (that 10 year plan they proposed at the start)... We're now 6 years into Warframe and they keep adding new content, the latest of which allows you to pilot a Railjack space craft into battle with your team, working to destroy fighters and board enemy ships.
Considering you can pay as much or as little as you like to play Warframe, it's one of the best value games out there imo... Be warned tho, it is addictive
