Use code MSEFIVER to get 5% off - taking items down to £4.75 - plus free standard delivery (normally £3.95-£20) until 11.59pm on Fri 26 Jan. You can only use the code once, but you can order as many things as you want in that order.

Online fashion retailer Everything5pounds.com* sells clothes, shoes, bags and more for £5 each. It sources unsold stock from top high-street brands - which has included M&S, Next, Zara, Topshop and New Look and other unbranded items directly from manufacturers. Think of it as a totally online version of TK Maxx, where almost everything’s a fiver.

You won’t know in advance if what you’ll get is branded and most products will come de-tagged. But even if you don’t get items from the high street, feedback is decent on other products.

In reality with e5p, what you get is hit and miss. Some of it is cheap market stall type clothing and only fit for the bin (doesn't happen too often if you have a good "eye"), but you do get some great bargains as well, usually the tags are cut, but sometimes you can tell from the care labels.

If it was my Deal post I would specify which items were branded from their current offerings, or at least show a few of my previous branded purchases.
They're some of the worst male catalogue models I've ever seen.

Are they being held hostage?

Nice find
Used their site several times before, have some great stuff
some are hit and miss though, but for the price it's still a good deal
There is some really old stock on the site. I still have the Malibu T shirt , which is on the site,I bought over 5 years ago from M&S Outlet and it was the same price then as it is now £5 !
Thx op heat added!
thanks OP

nice find. thanks for the heads up.
Ah go on then. I seem to be collecting shoes at the moment. Thanks. I think
Agree... Very very hit n miss on sizing and quality
Beware when buying from here. Quality and quality control can be really hit and miss.

I used to order a lot from them.

I bought some platform boots and when I tried them on, there were THREE nails protruding nearly half an inch into the boot from the sole. Being boots, and the nails being in the ball of the foot area of the boot, they weren't visible.

It resulted in 3 puncture wounds, several hours in A&E, a tetanus jab and a lot of pain for weeks until my foot healed

E5P didn't want to know, would only offer a refund of the purchase price and then only if I returned the boots at my expense and didn't even give me an apology. They told me I should have felt right inside the boots carefully before trying them on.

I've not ordered from them since.

I have the photos of the nails inside the boot if anyone doesn't believe me.

I ended up not even getting a refund because I passed the boots to Trading Standards so couldn't return them. TS then did nothing more than tell E5P they needed to be more careful!

A good way to keep an eye on what's out there is to bookmark what you like* and see what the Reviews say (though e5p are a bit erratic with the ones they choose to publish. Don't think you can specify brand names on Reviews, so people tend to asterisk them or refer to them euphemistically).

Or try watching their FB posts from customers (a few arguments happen sometimes, and one commenter I suspect is a cheerleader for the company - she implies she gets deliveries just about EVERY DAY from Royal Mail!...unless she's a hoarder...and gets quite aggressive with anyone who doesn't agree with her point of view).

*Of course, the most sought-after daily New Arrivals go Out Of Stock quickly, so sometimes you have to gamble - sometimes they come back over the days, likely returns stock, though.

This was my experience. Ordered just once. Everything was old, cheap, stale smelling tat and didn't look like in the pics. Some people are lucky though.
I agree it's hit and miss. I've had some really good buys from here before , especially when they did a free p & p together with half price offer last year . However I'm very much with Louise on this , you do need to try and research the item and not just go on the picture alone . They also sell old Primark stock too , so not everything is as much of a bargain . However I'm fairly confident with the jumper I've just ordered , 100% cotton , with a review giving it 5 stars and confirming it was from a high street chain , worth a punt at £4.75 delivered . I try and find the item on sale elsewhere online too just to see if I can find where it originates from .

Crumbs, that's terrible I hope you're foot is alright now.

Really glad I only bought one pair now too. Just went on the five star reviews for that pair. Never used the site before.
Think we should start a misc thread sharing E5P high street items we get. I have thought about doing this a few times but it bound to get more traction if it is started by someone like Louise honestly.

Yes, thanks, I healed ok but it was painful for a few weeks.

I'd bought several pairs of boots and shoes previously, without a problem so I'm confident this was a rare, isolated incident.

What really bothered me, however, was the attitude of the company. They really didn't care and were not in the least bit interested.

I can't even be sure, if I'd returned the boots, they wouldn't have sold them to some other unsuspecting person to impale themselves with.

Now I think about it, perhaps it's just as well I didn't return them, even though it meant no refund.

Liking for the fact you healed up okay. It's really stomach turning to think they wouldn't care when that happened due to their products. I'm disappointing trading standards didn't do more too.

Sounds like that may have been best under the circumstances, but that doesn't help you
Here's the photo showing 2 of the nails. It's not a great angle - it was really difficult to get photos of the ball of the foot section in a high heeled boot! It's not really possible to see how long the nails were, but it's clear they're a significant length. The other nail was on the other side.

Oh, yes... the boots had something like 2" platforms and 6" heels, so the pressure on the ball of my foot when I tried them on, and stood on the nails... well, you can imagine.
