Parkside Sander, own and abused one of these, bought other cheap sanders and killed them, these sanders are tough as old boots. Want a sander, you really should buy one of these.

bought this earlier. very good

Had one for 4 years still going strong, will be picking up the sander sheets today.

Appears to be a low end chinese sander. However I noticed on the lidl site that it looks like when you remove the dust box there is a round socket that may be vacuum compatible. Always recommended to use vacuum extraction especially as some old paint may be toxic.

Bought one today
30 sand sheets £3
It does come with one sheet in box

Very pleased ta op

Great I can actual use my chat up line. "Hey can I sand your details?" Usually they look at me weird, but armed with this, it's in the bag. HOT!

Ah low end Chinese sander, might as well flush it down the loo then.

Parkside power tools seem pretty good in my opinion. Got an electric scraper a couple of years ago which has served me well.

Would you happen to know whether these sanding sheets are compatible with Bosch sanders, which also use a velcro attachment? The Bosch sheets are in two parts, but the sanding sheet appears to be the same shape overall? Many thanks!

im not knocking this sander but i bought the parkside multimaster (copy) and this has a mini sander but the velcro pad is rubbish, the sander paper falls of after 5 mins.
i didnt buy it for the sander and it does the cutting jobs just great.
also have had there scrapper for about 8 years and thats excellent.
i will give this a go but hope it keeps the paper on better than the other tool.

Might get one for me Dad.... he's got terrible dry skin on his feet, reckon this'll soon sort that out!!

You can get a Black and Decker mouse with 15 sheets for £19.99 in Home base, might be a better buy.

But these comes with dust collection attachment and 3 year warranty. I bought one from home base two weeks before, never used. Shall I keep it or return it?

Such sanders are widely available under many different brands and perfectly servicable for their intended task. I was just making the point its just a low cost generic chinese product as frequently you get postings from people that seem to think there is some connection between a discount german supermarket chain and german engineered power tools. Parkside is just a label slap by Lidl, it is their own brand. Same as many of the low end generic food items they sell, instead of putting 'Lidl' on the packaging they create their own brands to give the impression of branded goods being sold at low prices but in fact many of the brands are unknown except for being sold at Lidl's. It's a different marketing approach to most supermarkets who like their customers to be constantly reminded where they purchased goods from.
