"For hygienically clean laundry, even at low temperatures Our specially designed sanitising formula, which kills 99.9% of bacteria, can reach even the most hidden areas of your washing machine, removing dirt and limescale. This Laundry Cleanser not only eliminates bad odours, it leaves a long lasting fragrance in their place."

In other words, it's entirely pointless as I've never had an issue with bacteria on my clothes after taking them out of a wash! How on earth did we survive before 'laundry cleanser'?!

Calgon is much better as gets rid of hard water problem as well.
Use this stuff for construction work clothes and towels .
Just do an extra rinse with sofner .
Dont use it on standard clothes.
Also grabbed it for £7 odd .

Yes, put a lid full in the fabric conditioner part of your washing machine( along with the fabric conditioner)I use it on my parents incontinence items & it does help lift any odour

Also use your regular washing powder/ liquid or pods too
We use on all our washing now. Originally bought it to use for my gym kit and gym towels. Regular daily use of gym, cycling and running kit with recommended low temperature washes didn't seem get get the clothes as fresh as they are now. Also keeps the powder and conditioner drawer very clean.
Bargain at £6.49 for 4 x 1.5 litre bottles. £4.50 a bottle at Tesco!!
Ive been using it for the last few years as my 'expensive' washing machine kept leaving nasty streaks on my clothes. I've never had the problem since using it and definitely helps to keep things smelling nice at low temperatures. I reckon it must be keeping the workings of my washing machine clean too. Cant seem to get any discounts tho
Thanks OP
Love how our bath towels smell when we use this.
They were showing as £3 on Sainsbury's site but scanning @ £4.50 today, couldn't be bothered to argue so didn't buy it (lucky escape).
It's great to use to wash towels and really dirty stuff (we have loads of animals and so lots of mud etc) at 30°. I can stick on the 30min programme at 30° and not worry about dysentry or whatever, saves energy.

I do wonder if washing at 60° would be less of an environmental impact mind you. I really do not know. If anyone else does then please shout up.

Meanwhile thanks OP voted hot!

i use it for my daughter's clothes as she has sensitive skin & gets rashes sometimes if i change detergents etc. using dettol seems to help prevent that. she now never gets rashes
It's a good price, thanks.

I would buy it if it killed cancer as well.

Never heard of cancer of the clothes... but I'm sure someone will sell you a product just in case...

I know, I know. I was actually intrigued as to how this is marketed (it's just something I've never needed) so I'm sceptical about products like this. Personally I'm in the crowd that believes that distilled vinegar and bicarbonate of soda added to each wash will do a similar job of deodorising, softening and keeping your washing machine innards clean, all for a fraction of the price.
Says it will apply 20% on checkout but only applies 5% for subscribe and save. Makes it just £9.49 for me, any idea why?
Not bad but have found Tesco’s to be the same results and cheaper than this
