I will take a picture when i go tomorrow. Why would i lie?? I've already seen the deal, and it is to benefit others to post on here - no other reason than that?? I'd suggest ignoring a post if it is of no interest to you.

go disprove it if you feel so bad about it.

fyi questions about diy refilling this system is used by 'lysol' in the us so youtube for that. plenty of ideas there.

I don't understand the benefit of these units, you have to manually turn the tap on and off before and after use so you are still tranferring germs too and from your hands!

Plus these units eat batteries!

I've got 3 of these-Kids love em! I've re-filled one at least 10 times, and am still using original batteries!

Since were on the subject what about when people use the loo and then don't wash their hands! And then you have to exit the toilet using the same door handle they just touched with their dirty hands! Ugh!

For one the unit does not get covered in dirt - i think they are great and i am on the same batteries for almost a year - so they don't 'eat' batteries.

I have one and am waiting for the soap to finish and then It's off to the charity shop as it dispenses way too much soap for our liking, and being a family of six my batteries definitely didn't last long. Voted hot for price though.

Yes, but for £1 each, you can keep a few spare bottles ready filled in the cupboard, and refill several in one go.

good deal, but really don't see the logic in no-touch pumps surely the bacteria dies once you scrub in the soap after obtaining the soap from normal pump dispensers

its not rocket science - normal pump dispensers just get covered in dirt / grease unlike these

the person saying they eat batteries is talking out of their rear

I never really saw the logic in manual pump dispensers, because when you use them when your hands aren't that grubby, you get smeared with a load of sticky grease and grime left on the pump by the last 20 or so people to use it, so you have to use more soap and spend more time scrubbing you hands to wash off the sticky grime that got on them from the pump!

Still using the original batteries on mine, and they've all been refilled dozens of times. The battery life is outstanding, but when they do eventually go flat, I'll replace them with gp reckyo or eneloop low self discharge rechargeables, as I got plenty of spares when they were going cheap.

This is funny. Anyone paranoid enough to have a "no touch" soap dispenser is likely to shudder at the thought of going into poundland with all the common folk

Incidentally this product always amused me. So you have a no touch tap too? Doubtful. So you still get whatever dirt everywhere anyway.

Dettol sells stuff by scaring you unnecessarily about germs. Fact.

In the real world.
That's the one where people know that Poundland is not just a cheap and nasty shop and in fact, quite dear for some goods, it's "unaware" people who use Poundland more than "common folk".

Apparently you are "unaware" of that.
