Found 25th Sep 2011
Same deal that was available a while back in Tesco then Asda is now available in Sainsburys. Orginal price of 'no touch' (but still got to touch the taps) handwash system is £9.98 but on special offer for £4.50 (Better than Half Price). There is a £3 voucher available as a pdf so it can be printed more than once if you perhaps want to buy more than 1.

Voucher can be obtained from:

planet-health-schools.co.uk/dow…pdf

I know all the comments that are going to come out about how its a gimmick but for £1.50 i don't care lol

What's the point?

The one thing you can absolutely guarantee everyone does after touching a normal soap dispenser pump is that they wash their hands!
I went to tesco with this voucher when offer was on , they refused to sell it me with the voucher , said they not taking this voucher as i printed them off, tried to explain to the dumbo but was a right jobs worth, said she already checked with manager as other people came in with them before. so told her to stuff it and left all my other shopping there.

She had a right bad attitude as if i was doing something really bad...maybe cause i look young and probably a bit ageist, but i just thought no wonder why you work in Tesco.

Couldnt use self check out as for some reason it just wouldnt scan.

So cheaper than buying a refill !!! Thanks for the post.
Went to look for my mum the other night but couldn't see them in my local store as looked round the cleaning isle and glade stuff etc

Where about are they normally located and will look again as hate supermarket shopping lol
Went through self checkout but it required supervisor overide for it to go through but no issue.

They are usualy in either the aisle with the cleaning equipment or in the aisle with the hand soaps.

Big stand in the Oldbury one where they were even showing them working to try and sell them so lots in stock but should be nation wide as they are showing half price on line. Just better than half price in store.
Just been to my local Sainsburys with one of these vouchers and they would not accept it because it has no logo on it?? Good luck if you get this deal.
for the paraniod and dumb.
Dettol should be ashamed of themselves marketing such nonsense.

You poor Guy did you find her,

Some people have sensor taps and some have Push tops which means they just need to push it once before washing their hands. OK they have to touch it at least once or twice. but end up washing finally without touching it eliviating us to stop touching the tap.

On another note some people are disabled or arthritic who have problem pushing, so to limit this pain helps. We have a push tap, after getting the pump dispenser this helps my mum ease the pains.

This argument has been going on in other posts but it did not reach any conclusion. So guys let us use it and you can keep using the pump ones.

I am glad people are getting this deal - I wish someone would have a word with the staff in St Annes Sainsburys - not accepting the voucher there. :-(
Don't forget you can refill these with nearly any other liquid soap, saves a small fortune.
Just so your all reminded after the dirty deed. (_;)

Yes, and it was the same companies who, 15 years ago, implored us to believe that soap was somehow unhygienic and we should use these new pump dispensers which were marvellous and clean.
in terms of sale price vs rrp its a great deal, BUT.... wouldnt recommend the actual product.
bought one 1/2 yr ago on reduction at sainsburys. it dispenses a massive amount of soap each time, way more than necessary. if there was a setting to reduce this, would be much better, but im sure the more soap you use faster, the more refills they can sell.... =(
Worked in the end, had to scan my nectar card first for it to work

Thanks OP!

First ever place my previous dog went on the beach was by St Annes pier - totally irrelevant to the hadwash thread i know X) Anyway heat added as it's pretty good stuff
Refils are only £1.50 anyway for 250ml

See mysupermarket.co.uk
Had mine for a month or so since the last time this deal was about for £1.99. Went in to the bathroom the other night and it was running on it's own and had emptied out a 3rd of the contents. I'll try and return for a refund, just a warning if you are thinking about this...

Why did you go looking for your mum in the cleaning isle, is hse normally hanging aroung there, lol
On a normal handwash, you push the pump and then wash your hands, it doesn't matter if the pumnp is covered in shlt because you wash your hands AFTER touching it.

...I look forward to the day when this sort of thing happens to you therefore would not dream of typing such a post.
hot from me
they still have these on offer in Home Bargains for £4.99 and the voucher does work in there cos I got one last time
Do you have to print it out in colour? Or can I print it out black and white? Cause last time I printed a voucher with my laster printer, sainsbury's didn't accept it

Hold on a minute squire. Poster refers to Tesco employee as "the dumbo" and "a right jobs worth" and whose opinion of the person "but i just thought no wonder why you work in Tesco."
So you feel that is OK? Speaks volume of you. And what sort of inane statement is "...I look forward to the day when this sort of thing happens to you therefore would not dream of typing such a post" ? (_;)
Any Voucher to buy it at this Price Online
I always wondered what the point was in this? You wash your hands after touching soap dispensers, and have to touch the tap to turn the water on and off.
When was it that soaps and shampoos stopped being soaps and shampoos and became systems?
Just wondering.
Good price though!
These things are pointless. You've got to touch your taps again.

Really it depends on your store. If their bitchy then try colour if not black and white. I've only used black and white ones myself, and I have been refused by one store but all the rest have been fine.

As you can with any dispenser! DOH
I got two at two different branch of Tesco in West London, the last time the deal was on, got two vouchers valued at £1.99 each, instore, they were reduced to this price, so got them free, diplomacy always helps, along with charm, good luck y'all..:-))
Top tip for those who buy this .... the soap is really expensive, so drill a hole in the bottom of the soap bottle, refill with cheaper liquid soap and seal with sellotape.
