Deus Ex: Mankind Divided takes place in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution and the infamous ‘Aug Incident’ in Panchaea that resulted in the death of millions at the hands of those who had installed augmentations. This event has created a huge divide between those who have augmentations, and those who do not. Amongst this emotional turmoil are various factions looking to manipulate the public by twisting public opinion of augmentation to further their own agenda and hide the truth of what really happened.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided also continues the story of Adam Jensen, a former biotech company security chief turned super-augmented, anti-terrorist agent playing by his own rules. Jensen has been empowered with all new augmentations, enabling him and the player a greater sense of self-control as they explore all new locations in-game. As social and political tensions reach a major turning point, Jensen and conspiracies surrounding the Illuminati continue toward an inevitable crossroads … and possibly, an epic showdown.

Great game. Heat

what a gaaaaame!

This game is going to drop in price so quickly, just like Human Revolution did.

Hot! CEX still offer £31 cash for it.

That is a crazy good price. I adored the first one, and just haven't had time to get started on this yet.

(Mainly because of Dark Souls 3 and it's damn difficult final bosses..)

hehe pre ordered this with steelbook for £50 good game. Had a feeling it was going to drop

Tempted but probably hold out till £25 due to already enormous backlog.

on christmas should be around £15 , then I'll pick it

The game's *easily* worth promoting to the top of whatever backlog you might have (the one exception being for The Witcher III) - it's a strong contender for GotY 2016 right now.

I've become interested in this game as I keep seeing positive opinions. I have Human Revolution on the Ps3 but have not touched it - nor the series yet. Is it single player with story/campaign? Is it essential to play the previous game in the series?

I'm usually a player of stuff like MGS V, Witcher 3, Fallout 4. Cheers.

Loved the 1st Deus Ex all those years ago and hadn't played the others for whatever reason. I just couldn't get into this. The story was extremely boring, although admittedly I only got around 8/9 hours into the game, and the City of Prague, although well executed technically, just seemed a pretty boring place with not a lot to do other than move **** around and look for secret tunnels and entrances. I just never met anyone interesting in the game during my hours which didn't help.

Yes - it's very much a single-player game, but it's not essential to have played any of the previous games (there's an optional cinematic recap of the story from Human Revolution at the start). The story here is more of a framing mechanism for the game rather than a focus and is serviceable but not outstanding. Where the game excels in in world-building, level design and a fusion of a wide range of different gameplay mechanics, with a *huge* number of potential ways in which you can approach and of the scenarios that the game presents. Aside from the prequel, Dishonored is about the closest recent game in terms of gameplay style.

I spent 44 hours in the game - completing side missions etc.

Like Tyler, I felt some of the characters were a little flat & unmemorable, and I found the side-missions more intriguing than the main story arc. Thing is though, if you like the systems & the atmosphere, you'll enjoy it.

Sneaking into the bank and raiding the vaults was a blast... best section of the game for me, second to that, the battle that takes place in the 'Arc ghetto' area - superb.

I played on PC btw at high detail levels, but the PS4 version looks pretty close & I think the updated engine & visuals was fantastic - leaps & bounds ahead when you look at the previous game.

BTW - if you sit through the LONG credits section - you might benefit, if that's your sort of thing

Jesus...And I paid full price for mine -_- Brilliant game though!

This is one if the games the devs will upgrade graphically for Ps4 Pro. Think I'll hold off until then as I loved the predecessor on PS3. Price should have dropped considerably by then. Heat added.

Taken on board, cheers!

I wasn't interested in this because I didn't like the last one but my son came round with his copy and I thought I'd give it a go - totally love it!

cold, pants game

Put 21 hours into the game finishing main story and some side quests, non lethal playthrough. REALLY enjoyed it

Wonderful game, highly recommended.

You should try Human Revolution first. Why? 1. the new one is very similar. 2. if you don't like the game you save £30.

Finished it yesterday, and loved every minute. Nice to see it has the New Game+ feature.

Great game. Well worth the price. The Game Collection are also superb.
