I'll wait for the full version

I'll be waiting too... but it's not a bad price for the game. I believe it's been cheaper though. Will undoubtedly drop over the next few weeks.

Awesome price, I paid £39.99 with the season pass and feel it was great value, still playing it, first game I've genuinely enjoyed for a long time, although I dont agree with DLC route they seem to be going.

Don't understand the hate going around for this, if you enjoyed the last one ill be surprised if you don't enjoy this one, no idea how far in I am but so far I've played well over a 37.5 hour working week and still looking forward to playing it when I have time

Awesome game

Also don't forget quidco.

From what I understand, if it feels like you're in the middle of something important, the game is about 30 seconds away from ending...

Yea I'm not sure what the issue is I believe I'm about half way but with about 20 hours on the clock. Guess it depends on how you play.

Even if it suddenly ends I'm not going to complain at paying £25 for 30 - 40 hours of gameplay.

I've played a few hours on this. But for me it's still really buggy and for now I've given up playing until they patch it up.

I get force closes where the game just suddenly throws me back to my desktop. Random freezes which force me to kill the game and once at the beginning something weird was going on with some flashing textures and some areas in maps which become super laggy but then sort itself out a few seconds later.

The original on the Wii U was fantastic. Drawing on maps, making notes... massively improved the game. Shame we won't be seeing that in this one...

Unless the NX turns out to be good

Personally, I just don't support games with pay-to-cheat microtransactions. I know they are not necessary in this one, but we're growing complacent as customers and companies are absolutely going to take advantage of it in the future. I'll get the game eventually, maybe when it goes 75% off, but as a customer the only thing you are able to do to send a message is not buy something, at least not until much later when publisher earns very little.

I'm still adding heat because the game is good and still very new, so it's a good price, it's just against my personal policy.

I have experienced none of this and I have nearly 20 hours on the game. Its been rock solid.

Is game any good or another aaa fail?

Unless it's something I really want I avoid playing most games for several months until after launch now. By then generally all the patches and fixes have dropped so the bugs have been mostly ironed out. You actually get a good experience then.

What card are you using?

A mate of mine uses a 390x and he's only ever had the game crash on him once, I'm guessing the with the DX12 support, newer cards aren't having problems (I'm still using a 7950).

I've got a 980ti and I'm getting constant crashes so it's hit and miss. I've done a driver uninstall/reinstall to see if that made any difference and it didn't work. I played Human Revolution in preparation for the new one so I'm a little disappointed but I'm sure all the wrinkles will be ironed out in due course. Continuing my attack on a ridiculously large Steam back catalogue I've started playing Dishonoured - how did I not play this one before?!?!

Only crashes I've had is since trying the dx12 version, although mine crashes on level load if I bring up the steam overlay before a level has loaded

Original Poster

do you have the "exclusive full screen" option switched on?

I did the same. HR was one game that passed me by but I bought many years back, the release of this game made me sit down and play through it which I am so glad I did. I enjoyed it so much that I bought this game straight away to get my Deus Ex fix.

Dishonoured is a decent game, I had fun with that one.

Im using a GTX1080 FTW

Ok, I get the frustration with the ending now I've gotten to it, but it's still a lot of hours of great entertainment in my eyes, and there were a couple of things i haven't done too.

It's been far better value than most games imo
