Single Player Microtransactions: The Game.

hardly. The microtransactions are completely irrelevant and very easy to not even know they exist as an option

Have to agree, after suprising people and delivering a solid reboot, rather than building upon, they are now destroying any respect they earned.

Just to note for those who do not know, dlc is ONE time use (it adds to the current save)

Start a new game, save corruption / deletion = tough luck. You no longer own your purchased dlc and must buy again

Micro transactions that you don't need to enjoy the game. Don't get me wrong, I see it as complete tosh that there should be micro transactions at all in a single player game, but it takes nothing away from the game by not being stupid and buying into the micro transaction tosh.

It's a good, fun slightly dumbed down for console gamers game ... But it is definitely fun!

I know, though... If only I didn't. Perhaps I would have bought it by now. Don't get me wrong, I am aware they are not too intrusive, but I'm afraid I'll have to postpone my purchase until it's under 10 quid because I consider it bad practice. I guess I'm saying that around 10 quid is the maximum I'm willing to pay for a game riddled with corporate cock stroking. Besides, it's exactly because of their DLC practices that the base games lose their value so rapidly these days. Some people are okay with paying 40 quid for a game that can be found for 1/4th that in a couple months but I'm not.

I'm happy to hold off until it's circa £5-10. As its from Square Enix then that won't too much longer.

Yep, it was (still is); Deus Ex, however, is GOTY material.

Move the decimal point to the left and it's a deal!

There we go. Would you like to pay cash or cheque?

Gone down to £25 now. Nearly there! Just a little bit more.
