I really enjoyed this game like I did Human Revolution, it's relatively linear and not long but offers lots of different ways to play. They don't seem to sell all that well and never get much credit but they are high quality titles.

I think it is just the fact all the focus these days is on multiplayer titles, and this is a simply a good old style single player story game. I'm surprised it wasn't in black and white it was so old fashioned in that respect.

Perhaps not on the level of Human Revolution, but still well worth playing and a good price too.

Digital Deluxe worth it?

Asking myself the same question, basically only worth getting the bundles for the Season Pass, which give you the others free. This game is so well reviewed I am temped but know how easy it is to get carried away with steam discounts!

Bought last xmas in steam sale and still not played! Would be very tempted to add to my collection at this price! Hope steam still going when I retire! Maybe there will be some emulator for our implants to allow us to play our backlog of games!

It's only £3.20 if you buy a discounted steam controller with it.

Not sure if this is the same for everyone but the 'Deus Ex Collection' bundle price went down about £2 for me. It was £9.30 (or thereabouts) for Mankind Divided + Season Pass and Invisible War but now it's showing in basket as £7.29 for the same content.

No idea what voodoo decides these bundle prices but for people who have some of the older games it might be worth seeing what number that bundle spits out for you HERE.

EDIT: Currently says £10.25 for me when I view the page not signed into Steam (i.e. for all 4 games + season pass) so looks like it's a couple of quid off all round.

I ended up buying it this way for £6.71 as I already owned all the other Deus Ex games.

Digital Deluxe worth it?

I have very recently finished the game and all the digital deluxe story content on PC and I would say it is worth it.

As well as 3 story based stand alone experiences you get some in-game items, such as weapons (which you can use across multiple saves) and one time use items (such as Praxis kits) that can only be used in 1 single save file and then they are gone for good. I never used a single one of these weapons or items. If you like to play the all the side quests and explore you will get more than enough gear and praxis kits than you'll really need. Also, it has New Game+, so you will be easily able to max out every single skill by the end of the 2nd play through.

If you do decide to use the one off items, it might be worth adding them to your inventory right at the start of the game as soon as possible and then making a save file and keeping that save file for any future playthroughs.

Went for the standard edition , the 2 doc packs weren't rated so highly and I'm not interested in all the extra in game stuff you get, loved the previous title so hope this is similar
