Many will say mesh works best, i dont have the budget for mesh. Others will tell you run a cable, I dont have the intention to do this across my two storey house. Some say in case your plugs are on different circuits on a distribution board, Devolo works best of the brands available.

Two RJ45 ports as a bonus

LAN ports are only 10/100 - Powerline speed is (nominally) 1000Mbps

Cold. Nothing beats TP-Link for the price and reliability.

i dunno, i tried 2 different sets of tp link both kept doing random dropouts, got some devolo ones and never had a problem with them

The only thing bad about TP-Link is that they crack...

My TP Link ones randomly cut on me then come back on about a minute later. Luckily not done it whilst I've been on PUBG, yet.
That’s a real shame the ports are only 100mbits. If they had gigabit then this is truly hot product.

Good spot. Makes the 1000Mbps aspect pointless. Might as well get cheaper 200Mbps ones.

Do you have the name for the 200Mbps ones? Thanks
Been using Devolo adapters for years, everyone I recommended these to never have any problems at all. When I have had one fail in the past the Devolo support was first class sending a replacement out next day from Germany for a three year old adapter. Yes these are only 100mbs Ethernet but .....
To those comparing the LAN ports to the THEORETICAL Powerline speeds, you will NEVER get Gigabit speeds from these devices unless they are plugged into the SAME double socket. I have the 1200+ versions of these and get 180-200Mbps reliably between devolo adapters (the 1200+ have Gb ports). Buy the 200Mbps devices and you'll likely get less than 30Mbps between devices.

Some reviews have mentioned that 1000+ for some reason perform better than the 1200s...even for other brands, any reason for this?

I use the 1200's and I see speeds of about 300 Mbps and that includes one that links an outdoor cabin, at the bottom of the garden that must be about 150ft away!

No idea. It was just a number to support the 2 100Mbps ethernet. However judging by the later comments interference/signal loss can be big so going for the 1k+ versions seems necessary for reasonable performance.
