Usually over £100 from places I've looked so this is a great price.

Don't forget Quidco too at 2.5% which could make this £73.12 in total!

The HomePlug AV standard established a new performance class that you can take advantage of with the dLAN 200 AVeasy. This fast network based on household electrical wiring offers speeds of up to 200 Mbps, making HDTV streaming, VoIP telephony and fast internet access a networking luxury. Setting the 'easy' security button is all it takes to activate powerful 128-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) for maximum security

Your fast home network

dLAN 200 AVeasy connects network-enabled devices such as PCs, modems, routers, game consoles and set-top boxes via your household power grid. It complies with the new HomePlug AV standard and supports data speeds of up to 200 Mbps. Its speed opens the door to bandwidth-intensive applications such as Internet television(IP-TV in HD quality), video-on-demand, VoIP telephony and fast Internet access with "Quality of Service" for smooth operation. It achieves a range of 200 meters within a single household grid, giving you the greatest possible flexibility to use your applications throughout the house. And for maximum convenience and security, you can encrypt your network traffic at the touch of a button.
Network access from any electrical outlet

Just plug the dLAN 200 AVeasy adapter into an electrical outlet to turn your power grid into a convenient data network. All you need is two adapters to take advantage of the full range of services. If ever you decide to use a room for a different purpose or rearrange your office no problem. Your network moves with you without the need for laying new cables. Just plug the adapters into different electrical outlets. That's it!

"Usual price £100."
No, not really "special" now, there are a good many near this price range, but this a good price nonetheless, especially if you get the Quidco, so voted hot.

eg. I mentioned these in a post yesterday, same price delivered, but no Quidco:

Definitely worth thinking about rather than the 85Mb/s ones.

You're correct in that compared to other Homeplugs the price is not significantly less than other brands.
However Devolos are a premium brand in the Homeplug market, and you won't find this particular product at less than £100 anywhere else.
You also get 3 years warranty.

Already have these and very impressed. Just need 1 more

PC World are selling off the discontinued single version of these at £39.99 at the moment, reduced from £59.99
Presumably they are compatible!

Nope, they were definitely the older 200Mbps HomePlugs( Product code 1171)
The only difference I could see between them and the AVEasy ones is they don't have the new 'one-touch' encryption button, but apparently they are compatible with the latest firmware.
Oh, and they were £39.97, not £39.99 like I said earlier.
These are discontinued stock so you will only find them instore I beleive.

Sorrry, bit of a technophobe. What do I need this for? I know it says in the post, but, I just don't get it. Can someone explain in laymans terms what this could offer me..please.

It provides a network connection between 2 points over using the electrical cabling in your home. Simply plug 1 homeplug adaptor each into 2 electrical sockets, connect your devices to each homeplug using a standard network cable and thats it.
Faster and more reliable than wireless basically.

Thanks for the reply Ste7ieBoy. Might consider this as an option now.

Tried my local PCW tonight and they were marked up & scanning at £54.99 for the single 200 version. Might have just been clearance at your store.

Picked up a single AV 200 Devolo adapter today at PCW. Marked up on shelf at £14.99 and as the box had been opened i got a further 10% off. Knew it was worth the wait

Still £64.99 online
