And that it's a different drill from the one in the picture

I think that the Screwfix deal gives you more bang for you buck, slightly better torque, metal Chuck and 2x 4ah batteries, but depends on your use case I expect..
Collection only

Dcd778 is not better dril than dcd795. This one is also with metal chuck and it’s way better than screwfix one ( apart from the batteries)
Might be better with the 796 and two 2ah batteries from the other deals if you can find stock for ~£115

Looks like the S1 variant doesn't have the metal chuck, it's plastic on every site I've looked at and also on the website from which this is being sold, the 778 also appears to have an extra 5nm torque, both are 2 speed, struggling to see what the 795 is offering better.. (I know it should be a better drill based on the number, but doesn't appear to be in this instance, feel free to prove me wrong)

Dcd795 type 1 is with plastic chuck and is discontinued 5 years ago but will be not surprised if they pull some out of the sleeve. And if y think that you will make a difference of 5Nm of torque-hats off .

Looks like they have brought it back in the S1.. regardless if the 5nm makes any difference, genuine question, what is making the 795 the better choice?
There seems to be a 4Ah battery on ebay for £12.99 rover.ebay.com/rov…382

It claims to be official. There's also unofficial ones for around £20. Does anyone know if these batteries are decent and compatible? I might get this drill if batteries are that cheap.

Cheapest I've seen an official 5ah is £50 so I highly suspect this is a knock-off

A Hong Kong seller with 0 rating on eBay. I doubt it's genuine.
