Good price and these run twice as fast when used on 230 volts.

** Joke **
You can also use it for stirring your tea. Simply super glue a teaspoon to the disc. Make sure you put the spoon into the tea before switching on.

Nice find, thanks for sharing @reg66
If they haven't change anything of the internals the last 7 years, this is a very solid angle grinder. Mine keep going strong, have change brushes twice.
Can't find stock anywhere.

Thank God you put ‘joke’. Some of the ‘tool experts’ on here would have believed you

No, it's for grinding and such like, you could end up causing a disaster using this to sand something....these things are not known for their delicate handling or finesse.

As been said above, is mainly used for cutting or grinding. In some cases can be used for rough polishing with the use of a flap wheel. Whatever the case, keep in mind that you should always use it in the proper way, wearing all the necessary PPE, as wrong use can lead to severe injuries or death, no joke.

You need to get yourself one with adjustable speed, then you can dial it down to buff, polish and sand with it, If you bide your time you can pick one up for similar money.

Of course you can use these for sanding, just put a backing pad on the spindle and your choice of sanding pad, eg, 36 grit or 80 grit.
I take it there aren't any metal workers/engineers posting comments

I purchased the Macallister one at B&Q a couple of years ago and its still going strong. Have cut steel, concrete, slabs etc and still working perfectly so i can recommend that one.
Not currently available to Click & Collect anywhere.
what good is 110v for most.
Will need a 3kva tranny to get this going.

No puns
