The Bosch equivelent is much better
A quick Google will give you results with cheaper options.
Don't be taken in by the suggested saving, it's only the RRP which is always inflated.
Got the lidl one for £3.99, going strong
Not really a deal

Good bits in my opinion, but not the cheapest deal on here.

Me too, great purchase, quality is excellent, I would pay £20 for this no problem.
If you need a set now highly recommend them, very stong in my opinion but I dont use them for delicate work. The side cutting edge helps stop snagging but if it catches wrong especially if drilling at a angle it will pull chunks especially on soft wood. As others have said, these have been cheaper and I'm sure will be cheaper in the future again.

The Bosch are better with a threaded tip. Literally pulls the bit through the wood.

Its horses for courses, I dont think the Bosch are better for every application but they can be very effective if just drilling through holes fast. Many people dont like the lack of control they give and have seen people pull through with the Bosch by accident. Also not a great idea to use them in a fixed pillar drill either. All just opinion of course

I’d totally agree with this. My experience is that the Bosch aren’t for anything with finesse.

Totally agree as well. If you need brutal force the screw tread tip helps a lot but if you just need something nice it's a no no. I used them for my joists and they did a good job but they damaged my buddies arm because hi wasn't careful and wasn't holding the drill strong enough.
