Because that’s the size you need.

All those bits and still no 7mm masonry....
Thanks, OP. I got this triple pack deal from Screwfix last year, and it sold out really quickly. Great quality bits, excellent price!
I paid £4.99 for the three sets last year, but would happily pay £9.99 for them now!

Would that not cause potential damage to chuck and lead to chuck wobble?

Excellent kit, especially for the price. I got 2 sets from Screwfix when on offer, well worth it
Great price for these

Chuck wobble so bad on my dewalt drill that a 6mm bit makes a 7mm hole anyway, and that was straight from the factory, imo all site tools are made for abuse over accuracy, want accuracy you'll need a pillar drill where the chuck alone cost more than a dewalt hammer drill/drill driver

Got these on the screwfix offer £5 each .
Bought 6 of them .
They are OK , I have been using them for about 14 months , gone through 3 sets up to now , but I use them on the site ( Joiner ) .
£9.99 is not hot .

No wonder.. It's a DEWALT = basically Cheapo junk made by Black &decker.
If you use it everyday and make a living with it..Get something decent..
All of the dewalt tools I have seen/touched/used just screams- Chinesium!

No such problems from my makita stuff, yes the top range you want is considerably more expensive ,however... I usually use them for 2years and sell them on Fleabay for maybe 10-15% less than I bought them for new! Than... I take the $ and just buy new again, lol. Keeps their value really well... I still have no idea why People buy used tools for such prices.. Most doesn't know how to use internet I guess.

On the other hand, Dewalt has some really quality Jigsaw blades and some of their drill bits are very good as well,
But their Tools... Garbage you want to avoid!

This is a decent but not spectacular price for decent but not spectacular drill bits - like many others I bought a couple of sets (for a fiver each) last year and the bits didn't last as long as I'd hoped - don't assume because they say DeWalt on them they're super quality, they're not.

£10 is probably about right.
Got to love the Black & Decker comments when Dewalt items come up .
My kit is mostly Dewalt .
The 305mm mitre saw is one of the best around and mine is still going strong 7 years on .
Then my 8 piece 18v set is still going well 3 years on , it all gets hammered on site and to get 3 years out of cordless tools using them everyday is pretty good .
Then all the new Flex Volt stuff is top quality, yes expensive but top quality.
Dewalt isn’t no Festool or Hilti Quality but I rated better than Makita , Milwaukee, and Bosch .

My Bosch is the same. Great tool though.
Surprised at the DeWalt negative comments...my combi drill has been badly abused yet it it fine and the 70nm torque incredible.
Recently, as I was stuck and the building inspector due, I am embarrassed to say I drilled a 20mm hole in an rsj with the DeWalt combi and a blacksmiths drill, managed fine (except for the snatch as it came through, enough to break your wrist)....but the drill coped admirably. Most DeWalt kit is Germany, Malaysia, thialand, usa, not much from China in my experience.

Because that’s the size you need.
Toot station do really cheap single size bits in pack of 10 too, so rather than get set of sizes you don’t need or want to can get only what you need. Hope this helps.
Paid £7 for a 5 pack of De Walt masonry bits this year.
Really done a good neat job unlike the cheap shop bits you can get
Professional drill bit set for masonry, wood, metal and plastics. Set contains: 5 x masonry drill bits (4, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm), 5 x brad point wood drill bits (4, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm) and 13 x metal black oxide drill bits (1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.2, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 4.8, 5, 5.5, 6 and 6.5mm).

How much would a woodchuck wobble if a woodchuck could wobble chuck?

Stick the wood in your chuck and make it wobble.

What do you need a 7mm masonry bit for? Never seen a 7mm Rawl plug
Im not the greatest DIY bloke but I’m sure I’ve got some plugs that say to use a 7mm drill bit and it just seems strange that there’s no 7mm in the set
Got this last year as well and can confirm that they are good quality.

no it shouldn't, try to keep drill straight while putting some pressures on the drill to widen nor only the entrance of the hole but inside of the hole walls as well. 1mm difference in concrete you will achieve in few second

Wiggle it (7mm) just a little bit, now that's hot.
What is ironic is the op is called a song of fire and ice, or similar. Hot and Cold at the same time.
