Used to love using these with self tappers straight into stainless steel with no problems at all

Nice deal but how much and where can you get a battery for this .. which will add to the price .. ebay again?
Never had a dewalt so assume they are much better than the competition ?

got one of these at christmas - and is a good deal if you already have 18 volt dewalt stuff - don't bother if you don't - a charger and battery will be about 100 notes.

Dont be fooled by the hype. That's what they want you to think. They are OK trade tools but. in general, a tad overpriced. There are better quality tools on the market for similar or better prices

@useless_57 would you be so kind and share your wisdom with the rest of us then? By naming the ones that are better and cheaper than the deal the op has posted! Some links would be nice...

What hype? I have yet to break or have any faults with any of the Dewalt tools I have used having used. I can't say the same about other makes I have previously used however. Everyone will have different experiences however and different needs so sometimes a cheaper alternatives will do what you want.

Personally, agree with thehitman, never had a problem with the 18v dewalt stuff I've got.
Haven't bought anything else since I started buying dewalt, it's always done what I've asked of it and so haven't needed or wanted to look anywhere else?
I think it's overpriced, especially if you're going to pay retail or "trade" prices, but this is a decent price if you want one to add to a selection you've already got?

I used to buy mine when I was on holiday in America and bring it back oO
But that was in the old days when you could bring more than your smalls and/or a box of fudge back with ya, without having to pay huge excesses on everything?
There used to be some half decent prices on the big sets on fleabay, the 6/7/9 piece sets but haven't looked lately?
Just thought I'd add my two pence worth
