Powerful yet compact, the DeWalt DCD709D2T combi drill guarantees impressive performance in the tightest of spaces. At just 175mm in length and weighing only 1.6kg with the battery attached, this drill gets the job done when there’s not much room to manoeuvre.

A belt hook is included for easy carrying when not in use, as well as a tough TSTAK carry case for safe transportation from job to job.

Is 2ah enough for just regular home DYI? And would there be enough time to recharge the battery while using the other one? Also do I understand this correctly and this does not have a charger?

edit: thanks everyone, bit the bullet (edited)
It is supplied with a charger, 2ah will be enough for doing most things as you'll have one on charge whilst using the other. They'll charge pretty quickly.

Not bad. If I recall ITS sold the dcd709 for £40-45, and depending on what's available the 2ah was £20-25 each.

So about £95 without the case. Solid deal if you want all the parts.

Which is a surprise as tool station bundles are normally overpriced even on offer. (edited)

How does it compare to the Bosch blue brushless, anyone have an opinion?
I had the blue Bosch and switched to Dewalt. This Dewalt is significantly better and cheaper than Bosch. It is also Bruschless too

    Where to put codes?
There's a box on the basket page, below the price.

Also 2-3% off from Topcashback depending on if you're a new customer. Just went for this, looks like a nice deal to replace my old ni-cad 12v Dewalt. Cheers OP.

I got this drill for £36 from ITS. This is a very good deal considering it has 2 batteries and a case. Although I much prefer the Tstak case
    It is a tstak case.

I've had exactly this set for the past 2 years, bought at ~£130, if I remember correctly, which was a decent price then.

Superb kit. 2x 2Ah batteries works perfectly for drilling / screwdriving - unless you're doing one hole after another non-stop, you'll always have time to charge one battery before the other runs out.

It's had some heavy use since I bought it, and has survived a few drops and scrapes along the way too.
