DeWalt DCD785L1 18 Volt Cordless Combi Drill 1 x 3.0Ah Li-Ion Battery + Charger

Seems a good price on special already at £119.95, but comes down further to £114.95 with NYSALE5 code. Deal finishes tomorrow according to the email, and seems to be around £150 ish most other places.

Actually, it might be possible to get this for £108.95 as two codes seem to stack. Use "save5now" first, then "NYSALE5" after. Don't know if Toolstop will honour it mind you.

If it had two batteries it would have gone through the roof lol, still hot at this price for me

A 3.0AH battery will be more than adequate for most people (except for trade who are on site all day). Very hot deal. Heat added.

Heat added a very decent price

What an absolute bargain.... Got this when it came out for 350 with two batteries

Actually no I got the impact driver with it too... Nevertheless still a good price

I have the 1.5a and this is a good drill! heat.

Thought this looked good as an alternative:

+ one more battery, better brand drill?, 65 piece accessories included in the same carry case, slightly lighter, more torque settings
- slightly less torque, smaller drilling diameters and chuck capacity,

Why comment and give a rubbish alternative when you obviously haven't got a clue what your on about. Have you ever heard the saying :- better to keep quiet and let people think your stupid then to open your mouth and let everyone know your stupid. Worse battery's, worse brand drill, 30% less torque and £55 more. IMO worth less not more, even with the crappy bits and an extra battery.

Excellent tool, hot

a drill with 2 batteries or a set (2 drills and 2 batteries) is usefull, as you can use one while the other charges and can continue throughout the day

Got this drill in my dewalt kit and it's faultless

Great Price

Got the metal chuck version in my 6 piece kit and not had a better drill yet, 4.0ah bats though. Fantastic kit hot for price

For those looking for a more budget option I bought this the other day and it's excellent when teamed up with the impact driver

@ BigBuds....
Have you ever heard the saying "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt ??

The metabo one is a drill driver not a combi.

Bought, cheers!

As a professional who uses Dewalt daily (work has contract with them), you'd be better off drilling holes with a broken spoon.

Spend a little extra on a Makita or Bosch... You'll be glad you did!

As a professional who uses cordless Makita, just by Milwaukee and avoid all other makes. Once you commit to a specific battery maker it gets expensive to change.

Also bear in mind a lot of Toolstops RRP are completely fictional (although probably not on this drill). Still a good price for a decent drill.

You may want to take a lesson in English before calling someone else … You may want to take a lesson in English before calling someone else "stupid". Three incorrect uses of "your", use of "then" instead of "than", and the wrong use of apostrophe-s on batteries.

Sorry I didn't know this was an English lesson, I thought it was a deal site and if I see someone giving stupid alternatives I will point this. I realise you are just trying to bolster your own ego by pointing out the mistakes I made- it is well proven that the spelling police on forums are the most annoying trolls on the internet. I believe most people just think your a d1ck as I do when I see pathetic nit picking at comments because of grammar error. I see even you on your high horse edited your comment.[/quote]

calm down dear...you will give yourself a heart attack.

I was just looking for a drill myself so posted the one I was thinking of getting to see if someone more knowledgeable than me might offer up some advice. Thank you palli I didn't spot that the metabo wasn't a combi, I was just playing top trumps with the specs lists.

What issues do you find with the dewalts?

I'm unable to use both codes together, in fact the NYSALE5 doesn't work for me;(

Price is up to 140gbp when i go to the page.
