Thanks a lot for checking. Closest I could find in Screwfix is screwfix.com/p/d…10p and there seems to be no stock of the item anywhere?

I replaced mine with the brushless one yesterday and bought the extra battery, plus used the 10% off. Came to £107.98.

the screwfix one also has a 2.0ah battery instead of this item with 1.5ah. Seems to be loads in stock near me, 48 at kings lynn store alone!

The DCD795 would be a slightly higher end machine alikened to the top end DIY machine in its day but it's now old stock. The screwfix machine is the DCD778 which is a very good DIY drill the specifications are pretty similar from memory I think the DCD795 has slight higher no load speed and higher wood bit capacity but it's slightly down on torque (65nm vs 60). The newer version of the DCD795 is the DCD796 which would now be the top end DIY drill but obviously more expensive than both of these. The DCD795 like the newer DCD796 also has an all metal chuck which is important for some. It's worth while being very careful that you check the model numbers as they differ by just a few digits. Personally I think the DCD795 is probably still the better drill over the DCD778 but it only has the 1.5ah battery vs the 2ah plus the option to buy a second for £20 with screwfix.
