If you are looking to pair this with a battery you can get this 4ah DCB182 for £35.69. Works out £8.92 per ah which is pretty cheap...

Just noticed this is a used battery with "significant signs of wear and tear".

Not cheap enough. The DCF887 is regularly £50-55 and is often rated as been much better due to the variable speed switch.

I would get the dcd887 for almost the same money, instead of the dcf787 in this deal. (edited)

The 887 is immense. My DIY jobs have become so much easier since i moved away from using a Combi drill for driving fasteners

Not a comment salient to higher end powertools...

Curious what dent the Aldi Ferrex tools are making in the go-to-brand lower end tool market. They're getting crazy affordable ~ and the batteries/chargers are seemingly available now ~ and I'm not sure Aldi would be risking products that'd trash their brand name.
Lower price bracket wise and bearing in mind the likely country if manufacturer, just how meaningful is the Makita/Dewalt/Bosch/Milwaukee label?
