This is an alright, but not fantastic deal. You can get the wrench on its own for £140. Batteries, charger and case just about make it worth 260.

The wrench itself is a beast, but quite bulky and heavy. I've got its smaller brother which is more compact and easy to handle... However once or twice have wished I had this for those really stiff bolts!

hi gareth, which is its younger brother? I have a 3/8 10v dewalt but doesn't have much grunt for breaking off well rusted in fixings.
Absolutely love mine, makes swapping between winter/summer wheels a breeze and had no issues during a suspension refresh on a 11 year old car.
Is the price likely to to lower? I've been waiting for that Makita one to go down to £150ish again.

I’d be very much interested in the body only so if you know of any good deal for the body only then kindly reply
Brilliant impact, use mine daily

Dewalt DCF894. It's still a half inch connection for sockets. Does wheel nuts no problem.

If by fixings you mean screws and the like (rather than bolts), an impact driver might be better.

Currently £143 on Powertoolworld. I've bought one or two items from them before and have been fine.
I bought one of these last year. Bought the bare unit then battery charger and 5Ah separately and I thnk it was about the same price as this deal all together. Best tool I have bought in a long time. You won't be disappointed. It's as good as a high end air impact gun for certain.

£125 same code at Toolsense ebay shop
Granted, not in the same league but I do like my Draper nut gun. Makes like so much easier and less time faffing about.

Yeah bolts, automotive work

That wrench does look compelling I wasn't aware there was a compact 18v

Thanks
I would go for 3/4"...

Which Makita one

Makita DTW285 18v impact wrench. Went down to £136 briefly on Amazon but I missed jt
I used one of these for the last year or so that I was in the motor trade. Brilliant piece of kit, easily as powerful as a decent half inch air powered version. Best thing is no airline to worry about so portability makes it a big winner. A lot of money for home use but a no brainer if you're using it everyday. Voted hot
This is a good deal actually, I bought the body from Amazon a little while back for £123quid (not currently available) and then I got a genuine 5ah battery and charger from eBay for £66 (it's gone up a bit):

ebay.co.uk/p/2…827

Great gun and just removes so much (I had a rubbish corded one for years, I wish I bought this ages ago).

So this deal you get another 5ah battery and the TSTAK case + insert.

I’m not sure you are that good at math , just the case is £30 , £110 for the batteries and £20 for the charger
I'm looking powerfully cordless impact WRENCH about half year now. I really would like to go with Milwaukee 18fhiwf12 but it's around 370 quid (1300/1900nm busting). There's more similar to this offer like makita dtz1002, Milwaukee 18fhiwp12, hikoki wr36db. This offer i also considered, especially now when it's cheaper from all other.

And for all those who consider start building setup with these but as a separate parts. Probably won't be cheaper and too much hassle anyway. Just pay attention if u getting genuine batteries. This offer here is really good. I'm really tempted but I'm not Dewalt biggest fan :/ without any good reason.

I couldn’t recommend this highly enough - I got one for £150 (bare) from Screwfix last year - it’s dealt with everything I’ve managed to throw at it - car and van suspensions, commercial vehicle propshafts......... As mentioned it is bulky and heavy - but it does the job so quickly the weight isn’t an issue - just whether you can get it into the space. You’ll need some good impact sockets as the max torque is so high it is capable of chewing ordinary tools!
