Which one is better DeWalt DCH253N-XJ or DEWALT DCH273N

    The dch273 as its brushless

Excellent tool. Note the light chiselling comment (tile removal and similar) -. It is not a concrete breaker!

Seems a great price for battery SDS.. I've got corded and that was about 90 quid. Superb kit

That answers which one is better i.e. this brushless one or Brushed version.

    Brushless all the way

If after a beast… and you do a lot of coring… this model is a beast DCK2033X2 .

Coring in most brick and block is about 5-7 mins. Beats the hell out of my old makita dril which would take forever. (54v batteries - it takes about a 1/4 of a battery!!)

Sounds good but 3 times the price of this!

Is it possible to use a Combi drill and a masonry drill bit to do a one-off job like this one does?
    AST68's avatar
Yes - only need SDS if regularly chiselling or doing masonry holes. Does make a world of difference though.
