First time poster. So hopefully a good deal for all. I've been looking for a high end kit and this seems to have incredible reviews but the price is what seems great.

In addition I've seen another poster put up the DeWalt combi 776 this is the more advanced 996 combi drill alongside the impact Dcf 887 impact driver. Anyway here are more of the details. Please let me know your feedback as I just bought one.

Excellent price, well spotted.
Just be careful with this seller. Don't buy from what you see in the pictures because that's not what they send. Read the description of contents and go from there. They show a pic of the toughsystem case but it not described then you won't be getting it. They like to mix and match there items to bring costs down
Thanks Sul. Just read the spec on their eBay page and seems like it should be. I think it's because the kit has a product code which is what DeWalt give it. But please let me know if you think otherwise.

Nice one
Sorry I voted cold
It is supposed to be hot hot
Can any recommend a decent drill for DIY based tasks. Preferably one with a long warranty and will be occasional use. Thanks in advance
Just to ask as my first post. Any reason why it has been voted cold?

I think maybe not the long warranty but I was also looking the Erbauer kit which is at Screwfix for 109.99 and an updated version at b&q for 150. Good reviews from what I've read and reasonably priced.
No idea why this is voted so cold. Brilliant find.
....and ‘POWPOW10’ at checkout to bring it to £260.99
Hi. First post. Bought this from eBay from powertoolmate. They also advertised it for 289.99. eBay were doing 15 percent off so got it for around 246. Just had it delivered today. I can say that what was delivered was as advertised. It's excellent value for this kit. With 2 of the 5ah batteries and charger, the dcd996 combi drill which is one of the higher spec drills and also includes the d887 impact driver. All comes in the DeWalt tough system case. So hot hot hot for me. Only downside is that it might take some time to get used to the weight of the drill. It's a beast of a drill. Highly recommended. Last I looked they had sold 320 of these kits. Their eBay rating was over 99 percent. Pay with PayPal and you should be absolutely fine if their are any problems as you are entitled to the eBay money back guarantee.
