This comment might not go down well, but if somebody 5'8, 5'9 rocked up to do a bit of work somewhere with a 38" waist, you'd have to wonder their capability of doing the task.

32 leg could just about be a 6 footer, but I agree with the sentiment. I'm 6 foot and have a desk job but have never gone above a 32" waist, always said I'll diet if I hit 34" but it's never happened (in my 40s now).

Its exponential and when you hit 50's you will be happy to be still in a 38" waist (tightly pulled in with a weighty belt) ...I have been reliably told ...cough!

Trousers like that won't last 5 minutes on a professional tradesmen. Dewalt or Snickers workwear are the best IMO

I’m a “ professional tradesman “ I can assure you they last well. Your entitled to your opinion, but you shouldn’t knock them till you’ve tried them .

I was told that about my 30s!
Not a tradesman, I'm a computer geek by day, but I fitted out a shop last month and found these were great. Lots of pockets, top loading knee pads, dunno how well they'd survive on a building site but I'm nearly always indoors:
