Ok for light use, but don’t take too much abuse.

Sounds like my mother in law.

Same price on eBay

Should be twice as hot then
Normally £9.98 apparently - from the same store! Although out of stock at that price.

They're pretty good quality, though. I have had a set of these for a few years, and used them a lot with no issues.

Thanks for this. Its a really handy tool. Ordered.
Use it daily. Good set of bits.
To add to the positive comments and against the negative one of someone that hasn't used them - I was very surprised by these and bought them around 8 months ago to help put down decking with no issues. They're great. Really are amazing value and ten times better than the poor sets I've had in the past that have cost more. Others have just rounded off, these didn't.

I worry sometimes just how aggressive people are with their tools! I've used these quite abit over the last year doing up a house and the only need for replacement is the fact I lose bits lol

So much better than any bits that just disintegrate at the 1stvsign of a struggle
I will add I got mine on offer for the same price at screwfix, looks like the same ones to me

that's exactly what they are... not proper high quality bits they get rebranded for loads of companies... get the Lidl versions of these they are the cheapest if you are just looking for DIY quality bits
Does that bit holder make the bit magnetic?

Yes, I think they are. Not sure if it's a slight variation on what's included, but the Screwfix ones are the set I bought and can highly recommend.

I "like" how every brand makes different color schemes for bits

I don't doubt that they are ok for most. I have a lot of DeWalt XR power tools, and they're great, but I've seen and used far too many of these generic bit sets with Makita/DeWalt/bahco etc stamped on the side to be somewhat sceptical of the quality for the price you're paying for quite a few bits.

It's the same with drill bits.
I've had mine for a while. Good quality but remember the bits don't last forever so you need to replace often.

A bit like Triggers broom.

You always get some numpty driving 6 inch deck screws with a t20 bit then complaining they did'nt last. Most tools get broken because the person using them does'nt understand how to use them!

Does that bit holder make the bit magnetic?

yes and also has a lock system too so they dont fall out

You get what you pay for. This has to be the most stupid comment on a deal website. If you get what you pay for why are you on here..

Not sure if serious....
I'd say that you're better off going with these impact ones. Should be tougher and a lot of good reviews:

Less of the bits you probably wont use, but a decent alternative here

screwfix.com/p/e…9fj
Anyone recommend a bit ratchet for these?
The holders are the best bit. They've got a locking mechanism so are good for impact drivers.

I thought the pozi was the best bit
Like a woman and her shoes - A man can never have too many screwdriver and bit sets - that makes 17 now!

Eh. What on earth do you do with your screwdriver bits. These a more than fine

Exactly.....and rounding the screw head so you cant get the screw back out again. For light stuff I prefer ratchet manual screwdrivers
