This is a nice set for less than a tenner
I have this set for a few months and I'm still happy with it. Heat added.
Nice little set and usually found at this price point
OK for DIY. If you want a professional set and are willing to pay a few quid more, consider this

Got this set from Screwfix on sale for £6 last year. It's OK but the bit holder is rubbish. It sticks and won't hold 50mm bits. The Milwaukee bit holders are much better.
Get a decent bit holder from Wiha or Wera, most of these other brands are just cheap tat

Bought a dewalt screwdriver bit set for a drill before and the dewalt branding was simply a metal sleeve that came off. Same as the budget cheaper range when it came down to it

I have three or four Were sets, only a single one of their bit adapters has lasted (and I am taking great care of that one - not using it for anything even approaching heavy duty) that includes the standard ones and the impaktor range too. They are mainly plastic and are pretty terrible by all accounts. Yet this Dewalt one is going strong still, as is the one from the Parkside/Lidl set - they are pretty much the same sets just rebranded and that is because it is metal not plastic.
I don't know what trades use, but I managed to kill several as a DIY'er.

"Were". Probably a knock off version, no wonder they broke on you.

Wera/Wiha is what the big boys use

Autocorrected sorry, recently switched to Safari browser and it keeps doing it automatically. Rest assured I buy named brand tools in the main just supplement dearer stuff for things that I don't use often or are just not worth skimping on like bits (though my Lidl set was cheap I expected it to be in the bin by now LOL), spanners, sockets, you will be pleased to know that some of us small boys like to use decent tools too Doesn't help having a decent tool place on the doorstep.
Out of interest, do Wera do a better bit adapter, I had a few of the black ones with the green ring all but one fell apart - the plastic sleeves wear loose and fall off the end, the Impaktor one was the same too - the sleeve comes right off the end of it.
I am trying out some of the Milwaukee Shockwave bits at the moment, their adapters seem pretty stout and all metal though no click type lock on them.

But for four quid less than this post and indeed better than half price of the pro set.. consider this. Same idea, different brand
