I was looking at that LG but the Amazon reviews put me off somewhat. I'm hopeful that the bigger case on this = better sound.

Just got one of these. Good picture, poor sound quality, and poor indtructions. Good value though....

I got the LG and the sound is great.

I also read a fair few reviews for this TV and most people said the sound was tinny. Probably just sound snobs.

Just ordered one, many thanks!

Is there any difference between this and the 2272 model?

This looks like great value. Would this be a good monitor for a laptop? Or would a proper monitor be better? Is there a difference in clarity or does the fact that this is full HD mean this would be good enough? Ta!

Is there any reason this should not be a good screen for a wii?

The 2272 appears to have a DVD player (the pic of the remote also indicates it does) but I'm guessing from the EAN and product listing order on the DGM page this one seems to be a newer model. Plus it has a wider viewing angle but is quite a bit thicker.

I'm pretty sure the 2272 doesn't have a DVD either

Good price - but is DGM a good brand - will it last?

You can add a 3 year warranty for £21 for some piece of mind

I'm yet to see a 24" or smaller LCD/LED TV get even average reviews for sound quality, certainly at a reasonable price (sub £200). Happy to be proved wrong.

Great find - thanks Op

I presume this doesnt have any internal storage for the PVR function and you have to plug in your own external usb storage?

Great for the car!

Ordered 10. Thanks.

oO

Next size up and it would have been ideal!

I notice that all there other TV's mention Freeview but this one doesn't. Does that mean you need to get a separate digital box?

50 LEFT WHEN I ORDERED thank you1

you dont need to put them in your car they get delivered hehehe

Does any know if PVR record is only for the DTV (Freeview) ? Or does it record also AV connected device such as a Sky box? What I want is also the ability to record SKY or another Freeview (via another box) as well as the in-built Freeview.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, sound is terrible, I am no sound snob and kids have Technika tv's from Tesco and sound is far better. Yes you have to connect your own usb storage for the PVR.

yes it has freeview.

What puts me off personally is the company DGM - do I live in a cave? I've never heard of them.

Also only 1 year warranty sort of makes me go derp.

Think of them as the JML of the Audiovisual world.

bought one of these when it was £149 @ Staples

sound is awful but I bought a pair of Logitechs and plugged into the headphone socket

You honestly think you would get a brand name for this price with the features and the fact it is full HD? Most TVs in this bracket dont particulary have good sound but attaching externals will sort this which can obviously be purchased cheaply. Definately hot

I made no reference to sound or price/features so I can only assume you quoted me in error.

Cheap and probably good enough for the price paid.....when you think about it, this is stupidly cheap for an LCD 22" full hd tv.

thank god for Chinese slave labour and unlimited world resources

Why do people keep posting the same thing twice?

Can you use this as a monitor?

Can you use this as a monitor?

Yup via VGA (crap) or via one of the HDMI ports if your video card has a HDMI output.

Would you be able to use the PVR to record component or HDMI inputs (Xbox, PS3 etc) or just live TV?

Brilliant. Made me laugh!!

does anyone have experience with this brand?
