I wish they'd let us use the controller version of the game on PC. I used to enjoy this on PS4, and would buy this again on PC. I don't like it with keyboard and mouse, and it just isn't the same using a workaround to get the controller useable.

Heat added, though. Great price for an addictive game with unlimited replay value.

But k&b set up for this game is gash. No ability to use wsad( which is the standard for pc gaming) , the closest you can come is key binding.
I'm old enough that things like gardening and walking the dog are usually more appealing than sitting at my PC, however a mediocre gaming laptop means that in recent years I've managed to justify gaming while semi-watching TV. I have a Steam catalogue full of bargain basement titles I've collected over the years, and not played, but Diablo 3 came as an unexpected surprise to me.

I hadn't played any of the earlier games and remember a lot of talk at release time about it being a bit disappointing, so I hadn't been tempted at the kind of money it used to cost. A similar price for the base game tempted me in about three years ago and I think it was probably the only thing I played for about a year. No idea how many times I went through the main story trying different characters and tactics, but it was fun while it lasted, with the seasonal gameplay adding a bit of inspiration once you're over the initial fun factor.

Borderlands2 is fulfilling my obsessive compulsive gaming disorder these days, with similar looty gameplay, but there's still a bit of me tempted to fire up Diablo3 again. But then I remember how frustrated I got measuring my seasonal performance against the leaderboards. I lack the dedication and concentration to tackle the nuanced gameplay necessary to do well. But learning how to be dreadful was fun while it lasted. Reminded me of online Quake 1, the only time I've competed online... spent ages thinking I'd get better if I practiced, then realised that even then, in my late 20s, I was too old to react quickly enough!

Anyway... great game IMO and easily worth the money. And I say that as someone who's reluctant to spend more than a fiver on a game in a sale these days.
