Diablo III is the definitive action role-playing game, and a true continuation of the Diablo series.

Players will create a male or female hero from one of five distinct classes - barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk, or demon hunter - each equipped with an array of spells and abilities. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, unraveling an epic storyline and engaging in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, they’ll grow in experience and ability and acquire items of incredible power.

The game takes place on Sanctuary, a world of dark fantasy. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, Sanctuary was saved some twenty years ago from the demonic forces of the underworld by a few brave and powerful heroes. Most of those warriors who directly faced the armies of the Burning Hells - and were fortunate enough to survive - went mad from their experiences. And most of the others have buried their haunted memories and pushed the horrors from their thoughts. In Diablo III, players will return to Sanctuary to confront evil in its many forms once again.

Diablo III will be a fitting sequel to Diablo II, with the easy interface, fast-paced action, and visceral gameplay that Diablo players have come to expect and enjoy. It will also include many new features that will take the Diablo action-RPG experience to the next level.

KEY FEATURES:

Five powerful character classes to choose from, including the barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk, and demon hunter.
Brand-new 3D graphics and physics engines enhanced with spectacular visual effects.
Numerous indoor and outdoor areas detailing new regions in the world of Sanctuary.
Interactive environments with dangerous traps and obstacles, and destructible elements.
Randomly generated worlds bolstered by scripted events for endless and dynamic gameplay.
Vast assortment of fiendish monsters, with unique attack patterns and behaviours.

Heat added, will cancel my amazon pre-order at £32
Great price. It wont get hot on here due to it being a PC game that isnt in a STEAM sale.
Hot. Best price + quidco ~£2.2 + club points. I ordered week or two ago.
Done thank you! This for £25 is a decent deal
Same price at Amazon now.

Pre-ordered it with Amazon for the same price. Might cancel that and get this as Amazon will take a few more days for the free delivery.
Amazon just price-matched this. Ordered from them.
Nice either way. This time last year it was £20 on pre order. Quite a few people will get it as part of their wow annual pass
Screw Amazon. They are abysmal when it comes to game pre orders.

Plus you get quidco, and receive it a day or two before release with Tesco, as opposed to waiting days after release with Amazon.

Hmmm, I've had Wrath of the Lich King delivered day before release from Amazon. Ordered Tesco as well anyway. Will cancel whichever doesn't dispatch first (or return one if both arrive).
Bought from Tesco, 9% quidco.
FREE when you buy WOW Annual pass, just sayin' as an alternative.
Cheers , My son & I have been playing the Beta & enjoying that so ordered & Heat added
Heat added, i'll purchase mine at the end of the month - i've never used tesco to order online, can you determine date and time of delivery or does it just get standard delivery?
i demand a console release

Price increased to £32.91. Use code: "GAMES5" to get £5 off to take back to £27.91

I received RDR on the release day and Halo Reach one day early.
First two were brilliant (well D2 was good till hacking was rife) - great price - heat added!
You can also get £5 off the collector's edition with this voucher. Still pricey, but...

That's a vague description of almost every game though...
its free like diablo 2 ( LOD ) but diablo 3 needs a ALWAYS ON connection even if you wanna play alone ( single player )

doest bother me but can be annoying when they take the servers down for maintenances or you travelling and wanna play

I was just hoping there was going to be more to it than clicking on things til they die and clicking on gold and clicking on barrels and clicking on doors. Mercifully tough you can hold down the mouse button to walk. It's no more advanced or exciting than Torchlight, which is about £8 now. I think Diablo fans will like it though, it's well polished, it should be as it only took 12 years to make.

Will stop the hacking that was in D2 dead though, which is a very good thing.

tbh it will not affect me like it never affect me playing diablo 2 ( lod ) with hacks bots, i just played the game with friends, i never pvp so it never affect me but i understand their decision cos of the bots etc... things got out of hand in d2 so i guess they trying to keep a closer eye this time as they will try to promote the d3 pvp area to Esports and u cant have ppl doing pvp with hackers/bots around.
Prob not the place to ask but anyone know how well it will run on my lappy?
I know it 'will' run just on what settings etc.

My lappy has the following spec:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz
8.0 GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 2GB Memory Graphics Card

If it's not on console within a year I'm getting the PC version.
I managed to get into the beta twice for a few hours and it was great.
