I am a former addict and when I broke the habit I realised I didn't die or something as bad happen because I got to a game a day later than launch. If you find yourself mashing buttons a second after something goes live, that is one indicator, follow that up with eating pizza at your pc, and using a soft drinks bottle for anything other than storing soft drinks, to skipping a shower 'cos you can do one more dungeon should be an omen that things have gotten unhealthy.

Don't be 'gutted', yes I realise its Diablo.........

Most of the instore deals on this site involve supermarkets, places that are frequently visited on a weekly basis.

I think you'll find that you are the one with the ridiculous comment.

This "deal" is so full of pitfalls it's not really a deal.

Basically, you're ordering from two places, hoping they both deliver in time (zavvi lol), hoping that the game from Blockbusters isnt mashed to bits and in a display case, hoping the Zavvi XIII-2 isnt a european copy (which game wont take), hopinh your local Game even has any stock left by the time you get both games and get there......because without a preorder (which they stopped now) they won't save it past launch day anyway........ and all to save about £5 on just buying it straight up.

Anyhow, for anyone that got the great Gamestop deal on the collectors, mine came this morning after dispatch confirmation yesterday Roll on 15th.

And some of you are saying you have the client downloaded and have done for weeks? I suggest you check Blizzards Facebook as you need to redownload the client if you have had it downloaded at a certain date as its missing bits....... :P

I live near one and walk. It takes 3 hours 53 minutes (3 hours 48 if I don't stop for a bathroom break) (3 hours 33 if I don't stop to feed the ducks) (10 minutes if I beg my mammy for a lift). If I can walk for almost 4 hours with my club foot then there is no excuse for y'all.

hmm, I get the feeling that Blockbuster have sold more copies of Assassins Creed than they actually had, Marketplace now shows Awaiting Stock and the copy I ordered yesterday hasn't moved past "Processing".

Great game when it works, only trouble is it NEVER works. Past few days it has been non stop error 37, and today it is error 33.

All seems very unnecessary considering I just want to play some single player to level up to begin with.

I used to love it back in the day (8 years ago) when GAME and blockbuster would do the 'trade in X games and get new title for just 99p' as a 12 year old entrepreneur i would keep on buying cheap sports titles, getting a top game for just 99p, selling the top game, repeat.

No you buy the two games for £21.95 and when you take them to Game you exchange them +99p for Diablo 3.

they work on both pc and mac i believe, i saw somewhere that says that its compatible with both, whether they are seperate disks i dont know. ring up and place one on order to collect. ive done this in my local (workington, cumbria) but thankfully mine is a sleepy town anyway, not many people have ordered it the guy said.
just turn up at 9am when they open and try your luck if you cant order one.

Excellent post - I love this kind of thinking on here. There's the potential to get it even cheaper if you can get copies of any of those games from eBay (for example I got a copy of FFXIII-2 for £8 last week). But is this for the console versions only? Not PC?

If Starcraft II is anything to go by, they'll be on the same disk. Same game files, different installers (an .exe for Windows and an .app for MacOS).

Walking is free - and you'll be better off for it. If you choose to pay for transport, then you're paying for transport - it's got nothing to do with the game! If that's how you think, then go to a few other shops while you're out and spread the cost accordingly...

May i know anyone pre-order from Tesco/Gamestation has received their Diablo iii collector's edition? They are still not despatch to me!

Be careful, some of the Blockbuster Marketplace games come in ex Display cases, which don't have barcodes. Not sure if this affects their trade in value.

It's really quite awesome, and far more faithful to Diablo/2 than D3 has turned out to be.

After the weekend you'll need a beta key to continue playing; they occasionally come up for free, or you can donate $10 to support the game & get immediate access.
Once complete PoE is going to be free2play. (funded by their auction house thingy)

Can someone confirm that this is ONLY the xbox/playstation version? As far as I know a console version has been announced but definitely won't be released by 24/05, so I don't really know if this is possible? They'd have to honour their part of the contract!

I've been playing it for over a month and still not died, the game is far too easy and once you get to lvl 60+ it gets really boring, i'm sure D3 will be much better than POE.

Can you confirm Diablo III (PC) is included in the trade in offer - I can't see it, and as above, appears to only explicitly state ps3 & xbox 360.

I'd rather pay £27.91 (which you could have ordered it for 3 weeks ago) then go through the hassle of this. Also as above I know zavvi are woefully slow with delivery so the games might not even arrive in time.
