I posted this deal before at £16.99 and it's been reduced by £4 for black friday! Bargain price! I

already have a couple which I'm using to renovate a house that's been

rewired and I can't fault them.

Good price

Good price, although I bought 24W one, and it's a bit dim for my taste, can't imagine 11w...

Edit: I see that hey have reduced the price of 24w as well, I will probably order another one and return the previous :P

did you buy these exact ones? i've got the 11w (which I paid 9.99 for @ screwfix btw) and it's plenty bright. i've used it mostly for working on my cars.

Unusual. I also have the 24W (or maybe even 23W one) and it's great. plenty bright.

I like these, they're well built and have good battery life. Can't vouch for the brightness of the 11w model though.

Any thoughts on the rechargeable version folks?

Will be using it for general car work. Been making do with a couple of high power bike lights but fancy something properly designed for the task.

Depends what you need it for and how big the area is but I would pay the extra fiver and get the 24w for sure.

Thanks. Bought the 24w one.

there is a 30W rechargeable one for 35. Not sure if this is a good price though.

£39.99 when I look. That's pricey compared to the stuff you can pick up off ebay - 30w ones go for as little as £15. But these do look to be very well made, and doubtless have much better batteries than the cheapo ebay ones.

Edit: Oops, that ebay one I linked to doesn't include batteries! Sneaky. Also I suspect the 30w claim is, shall we say, highly optimistic. It claims 1000 lumens, whereas the Screwfix one claims 2100. I suspect the first figure is optimistic anyway, so it's probably only a 10w LED with 30w written on the back by one of those "what power would you like us to write on it?" Chinese manufacturers.

Surely the rechargeable is much more flexible (esp if comparing 24W one only 7 quid more 17.99 v 24.99)? That's all I've used and imagine it'd be really annoying always having it on an extension crawling through lofts ect. And if you're working on leccy you'd need a site generator?! Only thing is remembering to charge it, but even a dead battery one is same as these mains ones. If you are static and need an area/room really well lit find a high power tripod type one is better.

This one is not the battery version.

Thanks, got the 24w rechargeable version for £24.99 for my Dad for Christmas, it will certainly make going through the boxes in the loft a lot easier.

Have the rechargeable one for a month or so. Bought it for squid fishing and it's bright.
Also used it in the garage (no power) and the loft.
At max setting it lasts about 2:30 hours longer at the lower setting I guess.

Thanks, brought the 24W one...
