Not a bad spec at all for 300. heated!
isn't membership £5 rather than £4?

otherwise it's basic entry level stuff but ok for £300 - don't expect it to be a fantastic bike though but it's better than buying a cheap apollo or similar
Sadly, this bike is only available in sizes 16" or 18", so little people only. At 6'2" the frame size I need is not available!
Been looking for a new bike and was likely to go with a Diamondback Outback, cause it is one of the few in my price range, but this would appear to be a much better deal.

Does anyone know why this isn't listed on the Diamondback site though? Neither is the other Diamondback they stock which has a supposedly big discount on it.
If you've got £300 to spend then in all honesty a second hand better bike would be the best option, you'll enjoy it more - it'll be more capable etc.

Look out for a second hand Boardman, or something like a Carrera Fury - you'll pick them up for £200-£250 and it'll be much better than the above
think this is great for the money!
27 gears & hydraulic discs....lets see some others at that price range
nice spot OP
