A reissue of this classic title brought up to date with never-before-published material from the original taped interviews and a new introduction by Andrew Morton.

This edition reflects on the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the original publication, and on the long-term legacy of Diana, the woman who helped reinvigorate the royal family, giving it a more emotional, human face, and thus helping it move forward into the 21st century.

I haven't bought the book myself as I don't have any feelings one way or the other about her as I never knew her personally although it has to be said that I do feel extremely sorry for her sons but on the other hand I also know a lot of people find her whole story fascinating...hence the reason I posted the deal as it's a good buy for those that are interested and to be honest at 99p there's far less profit for those that have taken advantage...would rather they got a measly profit from 99p rather than a larger profit from the hardbacks and paperbacks
Voted HOT.

This story HAD to be told.

It finally shed light on what the Queen, Charles & the Royal machine were truly like.
99p multiplied by say a few million... is nigh on a few million quid. Not a bad profit for downloading the same file over and over.

Paperbacks and hardbacks cost money to print per book. Hosting a file for Amazon costs diddly squat.

Not your fault OP, it's just the wheels of capitalism in motion regardless of the tragedy

I did find the number of people who came out of the woodwork after her death to make a penny abhorrent and although it's not much consolation one of the few good things that could be said about this book is at least the original was published whist she was alive...admittedly this updated version does seem to have been released to capitalize on the 20th anniversary of her death which has been hard to miss due to all the documentaries...mentioning which did watch a documentary about the story behind this book and it does have to be said it was fascinating but still not enough to make me buy the book.

Think the worst thing about the whole tragedy was watching her sons having to live out such a personal tragedy in public which seemed to bypass a large percentage of people

Absolutely Agree. Tragic for those young chaps regardless of their financial, social, hierarchical status, et al. Not the only people to suffer tragedy on earth obviously, but to have your nose rubbed in it with every "anniversary" must wear thin... If it were me I'd be an extremely bitter individual (more than normal anyway ). Plenty reason to boycott any money making material...

Unfortunately people are always going to write about this lady because she was so famous. I think its wrong for people to profit from her death, and I suppose we will never know the truth, but we can keep a good thought for her, and that is the main thing.

I think many people realize whats been told, and it must be a right royal pain in the butt for them at the moment with it being Diana's anniversary, she will never be forgotten by the people who loved her.
This book was released 5 years before she died. It hardly profited from her death originally.
It’s not going to sell millions. 99p includes VAT as well.

Too many social justice warriors upset on someone else’s behalf.
