What else would they be for?
Measuring coffee when you're not at home.
Nice
To answer your question what an Aussie product is doing over here, maybe they have legalized drugs in AU ?
Dick Smith stores are the Australian version of Currys!

That is the reason, their stock was sold off in a liquidation and obviously some of it has ended up in the wholesale channels used by discount stores here in the UK.
I use them to make e liquid by weight, made sure it order online so did not get funny looks from people though.

Or maybe you buy second hand jewellery from car boot sales / charity shops and you want to know the weight of a particular item.

I think they could be handy in the kitchen for herbs and spices.. legal herbs and spices that is .. have em in the kitchen draw for easy access for when you quickly have to weigh out some paprika! Lol

another legit use would be weigh out small amounts of expensive make up to sell on in little bags for testers for sale on ebay.. a lot of people do it
Which section were they in?

Tandy still exists as an on-line retailer of electronic components. Much smaller than the original that was part of RadioShack, but then RadioShack has gone bust twice in recent years so perhaps that is a good thing. tandyonline.co.uk
