Me too
Heat added OP
Off to Costco tomorrow so it will be top up with Diesel time.

Easily worth the cost of the card with or without going in and buying from the warehouse
Where is there Costo fuel? I live in London.
At a Costco warehouse, they're dotted around the country. Annual membership required.
Intrigued as to what additive they put in extra when the fuel is delivered from Texaco. The A6 runs well on it, whether that will be the case when Audi put in the "uncheat" software remains to be seen.
Unfortunately you, me and others in the "executive" scheme you don't qualify for cashback on fuel.
Filled up at Oldham on Sunday, noticeable how many taxis were filling up with diesel.
Thats decent, my Esso card is at 95.5 this week
Amazing what difference a few pence makes
Six months ago it was costing me ~ £92.00 to fill my diesel Passat
Now costs me ~ £65.00
HEAT!

Wow what a deal, remember when the Liverpool one opened and filled up for £1.32 and that
was the cheapest in the Land!!! At less than 95p this shows you just how much more you can
get for your miles per gallon

Bear in mind , Costco don't have fuel stations at every Costco store. Neither of our 2 local ones sell fuel (Haydock and Trafford Park) and these are pretty big stores

Lol ... above post (posted at the same time) shows Costco fuel locations.

Hot, great price for fuel
nice if have Costco close nearest for me 55 miles so got to be cold from me
they only got 3 stores in the uk so not a great deal
Shame my local Costco (Leicester) has no petrol station but great deal for those near one.

Just curious - I assume you have to show your Costco card *before* they allow you to dispense fuel (manual check or something automated?). Otherwise what if Joe Bloggs just thinks it s a regular petrol station and proceeds to fill up regardless? Could be really awkward at the till!

You need to scan your costco card before you can put your payment card in.

It`s not all about you
Does anyone know whether Costco are routinely cheaper than supermarkets for fuel? I work in Bristol and pass the Costco at Avonmouth twice a day so this would be perfect for me - just weighing up whether the saving warrants the membership cost.

Depends on how many tankfuls you would use over the year, petrol or diesel, as Costco only sells premium diesel, and then you have the benefits of membership for other car related products, just picked up a pair of Michelin wiper blades for the Audi for under £10. Michelin tyres are probably the cheapest to buy/have fitted. Read the threads on here for savings on many items instore (5 year guarantee on TV's ). It really is a "Marmite" store for HUKD punters.

If I've understood your comment as you intended, the price of fuel has no bearing on miles per gallon
Pity there's no petrol station at my local branch (Chester - Actually west end of M56).

Thanks. Yes I appreciate "the bargain" when it comes to CostCo - my question was more can I rely on CostCo being 3p (or more or less) cheaper than Asda, year-round, such that I save approx £1.50 on each of the 35ish occasions a year that I fill up (@50l per fill-up)? - if so, £1.50 * 35 = £52.50 saving, which is more than the £30 membership cost = win. If this 3p saving is a loss-leader and most of the year it's the same price, then I'm not going to make back my £30 (leaving aside the potential for other savings).

Other options include knowing someone who already has Costco and getting them to add you as an additional member - is quite cheap.
Or go along with them when they use Costco.
Or just borrow their card.

I have been to 4 costco warehouses and never even seen a Petrol forecourt
Quick question on Costco diesel: What is so 'premium' about the diesel?

Yes. That's because there are only 3 stations and many many more warehouses than the 4 you have visited.

They only entered the fuel market in the UK in 2014.

Buy just 500 litres to break even - wow
Shame neither of my two local Costcos have a filling station

I have sent an email to KSGasoline@costco.com; ‎asking this question. If/when I get a reply I will post either on this thread or a new one.

Or option 3, borrow their card, photo copy it and carry around the photocopy to fill up.
I have a membership but I have tried the photocopy technique and works

That's probably a bigger debate for Premium Diesel in general..
Any news on the location of the new sites?

They use Shell V Power diesel last I heard
How can they use Shell V power, surly that's exclusive to shell?
