Good price, though the watches aren't great - certainly isn't worth £107 ...

I agree with the rrp being to high, but pretty nice watches,

I've ordered one cheers!, Not had a watch for 5+ years been using my mobile for the time. I had £37.99 gift certificates so £1.61 was okay I thought!

I have been doing exactly the same as you for the past 5 years, until i spotted the Police Citation watch at Amazon i posted yesterday and i ordered my first watch for 5 years!!! last one i owned was a dodgy Tag Heuer from Thailand, forgot to take it of in the shower and it filled up with water, looked like a snow globe until it rusted and the hands fell off:oops: , mind you it did cost me £1,90:-D

Yeh I got a few in koh san road, Bangkok for about 100 baht each (£2.50 at the time 1995-6). My last watch was a dodgy Adidas sports watch purchased at Hackney Wick giant boot fair for £8 about 6 years ago so a gueniune one will be a novelty!

lol, i bought an Adidas watch about 4 weeks earlier in Hat Yai and it fell apart after about a week, i remember buying a pair of fake raybans and wearing them when i walked into a little shop on Koh phi phi island, trying to look all cool as the shop assistant was gorgeous, i asked for a packet of ciggies and as soon as she gave me them the arm fell of the sunglasses and they were left hanging of my nose:oops:

Koh phi phi (Popular with Japanese tourists if I remember rightly) is where I lost my travellers cheques and American Express only gave me £50 while they looked further into it. What a panic that was I finally got them after about 3 days. I was very young at the time and probably seemed dodgy.

There was an advert at the time for American Express with a guy laying on a sunbed drinking a cocktail while a courier comes along and delivers his lost TC's on a silver platter.

Shame I never got the same treatment :x
