Just called in at my local Total petrol station in Huddersfield and found diesel to only be 98.9p per litre - in the area this is cheaper than the supermarkets.

Hope this of some help to any people local to the Huddersfield area - cheap fuel is always nice!

About time, "Diesel [...] static", diesel was always cheaper than petrol, now diesel drivers are paying well over the price drivers of petrol cars pay.

gordon f-ing brown 70some % tax and even the VAT is calculated incorrectly to make an extra few pennies per litre

ain't vat 17.5% on top of the goods price and not 17.5% of the price

ie if fuel costs £1 a litre that is 82.5 pence exc VAT
so why aren't we paying 96.94 pence (ie 82.5p x 1.175% )
