I have to admit it is cheaper than keeping budgies + less mess :-)

Good price for the bird but be warned these things chew through batteries and it's the tiny ones that are A) expensive and B)hard to come by , at least local to me they are

They should be chewing through nuts instead

Are you sure you have the Digibird cage and not the Little Live Pets one? We have both this exclusive Digibird and the Little Live Pets cage after I suffered a similar confustication - the LLP cage has space for two birds, whereas all the photos I've seen of Digibird cages are single occupancy. The LLP bird is significantly larger than the Digibird (although the two are still cohabiting as I type )

Think you might be right! I will amend post, ordered mine now so it will have to share the live pets cage with the green bird they have.

Think the bigger birds prefer the fat balls, but will need a bigger cage for that one! enough said this is a family site as you rightly state!

Ok, I have ordered this Digibird thinking it was one of the live pet birds, Does anyone know if this will fit on the perch along side the Live Pet Bird, or will they fight ? If they breed I may have a new cross brand

Look Someone on Ebay just selling the Live Pet Cage, wonder if their Bird has escaped, that's the trouble if you leave the windows open!

Why ?

because we are lonely and need someone to talk to

Not sure if the digibirds are same as the little live pets, litte live pet birds are fab - its the recording your voice and saying things back in a birdy voice that is great - entertained us all day christmas day and the kids still love them!

I would return the digibird or cancel it to be honest, the little live pets are much better (in my opinion anyway) and they take AAA batteries which are easier to come by,last longer and rechargeable are available you'd save in the long run.
