Is this any good? The lg 40 inch at argos cost £250. Is it worth paying the extra £60?

Can anyone point better alternatives to this tv? is this the best deal for a 40-42 tv?

I'm not great with TVs. If I'm using a PS4, should I be concerned with 1300/1 contrast ratio or 50hz motion rate if I bought this?

Depends what you mean by best deal. It's certainly the cheapest. But as others have pointed out, a bit more money gets you a better television.

Whats your budget? Do you care about brand names? are you after the cheapest of the cheapest? that LG that ha9ap mentioned looks good for the money.
I got one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Panasonic-TX-42A400B-42-Widescreen-Slim-LED-TV-Full-HD-1080P-Freeview-Black-/141688155147?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20fd45ac0b
brilliant tv for the money, if you made an offer of 204.99-209.99 I'm sure it would get accepted.

Bought this on Friday instore at Tesco Extra in Stretford. Got it for a bedroom TV, and is working well. Picture is good, clear picture from my chromecast. Sound isn't great, I set it up in my living room where my LG telly was on, and the sounds was noticeably poorer (and I'm not an audiophile of any sort), but it's still acceptable, and any speakers can be plugged in to it.

Unfortunately no FreeviewHD. Still, decent price if you have a HD source from elsewhere.

I've got a digihome led tv for my campervan and it's a great wee telly. Hot

Tesco have a thing for advertising TVs as 50hz when they do support 60hz. maybe they like to show they support pal, i dunno???

i got a Technika tv from tescos which tesco advertised as 50hz yet it fully supports 60hz.

last week tesco was doing 25% off Technika tvs. LED 40inch, Full HD and Freeview HD for £195, extra £15 for built dvd built in.
claims 50hz but supports 60z and ive been really impressed with the picture quality,
not much between my technika and my 1 year old £750 LG led tv

Bought this Digihome 42" TV a couple of days ago. The manual and TV state It is 60Hz not just 50Hz, must be an error in the Tesco advert. I was concerned about the contrast ratio but apparently each brand interprets this information differently, the specification isnt always accurate. Having tested this I can say that the blacks are quite deep, there are also Dynamic Contrast, Backlight, HDMI True Black, RGB Colour Gain and Sharpness settings (sharpness is set way too high as standard making the image look grainy). Overall very impressed for £189.

I think I want the cheapest. Still thinking maybe 42 might be a bit too big for a box room like mine. Is it true you can't see freeview channels in HD?

Can I connect a tablet to it anyone?

Hi, I have a question for you, does it have dlna as it says?

purchased today, excellent value for money, the sound is fine with a bit of tweaking, not using the freeview so unsure if in HD or not.
overall very pleased

Sold out.
