I don't think Polaroid make your AsdaTV or the Digihome

Looks like it's been fiddled

Avoid Digihome, I took mine back to Tesco. Much happier with my Hisense TV.

I never see that, she's such a wee milf

Picked one up yesterday for the conservatory. Not the best quality in the world but for the price I'm very pleased (I have Bravia 4ks in other rooms). Plus had a suprise £10 in clubcard points and the £20 discount code.
Main purpose was just to cast you tube and mainly peppa pig.

Could somebody measure the size between the legs please? Would like to know if this will fit on my existing TV stand which is a little narrow. Cheers

Our 6 year old 40 Inch TV died on Sunday morning, so just purchased the Smart TV Version of this Deal £199 - £20 voucher = £179. Collecting it from Store later today.

I can't turn down a 43 Inch Smart TV for that price, with an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars out of 337 Reviews.

If anybody is interested it's 83cm, slightly too wide for my existing stand.

It's a shame the legs are in an odd place as having to get a new TV stand - going for this one

For the price I'm quite impressed with the TV so far.

Did you play with the picture settings at all? I've got mine plugged into Chromecast & after changing some settings it's looking OK for me.

I did but gave up after an hour or 2 of various permutations.

The Seiki...no problems from minute one.

I got the Blaupunkt for the same price and very happy with it, I deliberated for a while and went with that one. Three HDMI, made by UMC who are apparently one of the better OEMs and a built in media player than can do H265/HEVC as well.

Shame I didn't see that but never mind. Won't be using the media player but the extra hdmi would be useful.

The menus and general operation of the Vestel sets ( like the Digihome) is much better than on the UMC ( Blaupunkt) or Seiki Tvs.
Between me and my partner we have 2 Blaupunkt, 1 Seiki and a Finlux ( Vestel ) .
Some Blaupunkt models don't have a proper TV guide ( where it shows whats on about 8 channels at once) instead making you scroll down channel by channel to see whats on for the next few hours on that single channel. This means it takes ages to see whats on.

Hi guys. I'm wondering which is the most user friendly? Blaupunkt or the Digihome. I picked up instantly on the extra HDMI on the Blaupunkt.Any information would be truly appreciated. I want to buy my son a tele as he's moving away.

Thanks in advance, wizz kids and techys (_;)

Hiya, does it not state 42" max on this stand my friend? Just thought i'd need to also buy one as the legs are so far apart. Or does max weight kick into effect if the stand will fit the television on?

Digihome or Blaupunkt? Pros and cons please folks?

Hey - it does however i've gone by the stated width of 90cm so will be a few cm's left each side. The TV weights hardly anything

[I was meant to pick this up from store today but I haven't had confirmation it's arrived yet]

In terms of user friendly, the Digihome has clear menus & setup. I'll be using this with a Virgin media Tivo box so all that's need is to switch to HDMI. Can't comment on the Blaupunkt sorry.

Well this shows multiple channels at a time and Blaupunkt have also said it has a USB PVR although I've not tested that yet. I'm pleased with it, the menu is easy to use and it has shortcut keys to go direct to all the functions you'll need most often.

I bought the 43" blaupunkt from tesco, a few days after getting it set up it wouldn't turn on, it was stuck in stand by. So they sent a replacement, only for that one to knack up this morning! Going to return this on and try the digihome.

Good lord this is a sweet deal. Tesco Direct discount code:20% - TDX-7FWR not working any more? Also are there any other deals Hisense, Blaupunkt or Seiki?

That's mentioned in some reviews, a firmware update fixes it, just save it to a flash drive, plug into the TV and turn it on, it will auto update and work.

Im looking for a good deal on a 4k. Are there any keenly priced 4k sets on tesco the £20 code will work with? I know there was a 48" for £280 but they havent had stock in ages...

Editor

The code should work with pretty much any of them as far as I can tell

Anyone know if this TV has an ARC port? Looking for a TV with main criteria being simplicity of use (isolate everything to one remote, without the glitches associated with having the unified remotes turning on/off multiple devices).

Liking that this is a non-smart TV, but could do with the audio channel working.

in lovely freeview hd ,)

Just replaced a DigiHome with an LG in my spare room.

Hadn't used the DH one for a while as didn't have a decent source going to it. Finally piped an HD signal from the Tivo box into and realised just how bad it was. Image quality was terrible and the viewing angle as absolutely abysmal. Gave it away to charity and replaced it with a larger LG one (and I don't rate LG all that highly .... they're decent, better than the supermarket specials for sure, but certainly not top of the line) and the difference is night and day. Especially with viewing angle.

It's wall mounted above and behind my PC so the viewing angle is not ideal. The LG is fine with this. The DH was pretty much unwatchable. The LG wasn't much more than this one. But it is only a 32" ....

Fair enough, the TV is directly in front of me so haven't noticed the issue with viewing angle.

It's rated 4.6 stars / 5 from over 170 review so can't be all bad. Let's not forget you're paying just £160.
