nothing wrong with this telly. Vestel made, but guess what Vestel also make loads of branded sets for other manufacturers inc Panasonic, Sharp, Hitachi.

Cheap is often perfectly ok... not everyone wants expensive - especially at xmas
I picked this TV yesterday no complain on picture quality and sound can be improved with additional speakers. Only disappointin is free view built in is not HD. So no HD channels

Yes....................and no.

I have a couple of cheap Full HD Tvs (37") that I bought from Sainsbury's around 4 years ago (forgotten the name but unbranded - Cello?) that are still going strong now. Picture is excellent as far as we're concerned and one is used as a monitor by my son and it handles graphics on high settings brilliantly.

To a large extent the extra you pay for a brand name is simply for the name. At this price if you get at least 2 or 3 years out of it then I don't think you can grumble - TVs will have moved on by then and you'd get a great deal on a 4K TV then when there is actually widespread 4K sources.

But note that, according to a conversation I had a few days ago with staff in Tesco, they will be selling a 50" SMART Full HD TV for less than £200 in store. This one here I believe.
Never heard of this brand but I have around £200 to spend and have been looking at the non smart 32" Samsung from another shop or do I go with this
Is this the telly that causes mass panic on black friday.

How many HDMI ports does it have and does it have USB play/record like some of the other Tesco TVs? thanks

thanks for heads up looking to get this!
Any one can comment on pic quality
Got one in the office with a Fire Stick plugged in. Handles 1080 fine. Sound is a little crappy but for the price I the picture quality is superb. No complaints here.

All I know is what I posted - the 50" Smart TV, currently instore at £229, is/was due to go down to below £200 on Boxing day. There were maybe 15 in my store but obviously I can't say if there will definitely be any in other stores. It's really a heads up to have a look.
Forget my previous comment - been to Tesco this morning and the 50" Smart TVs I saw a few days ago which were supposed to go on sale today were nowhere to be seen. What a crock - Tesco staff shaft me again!

Ah well, i'll keep em peeled...i'm sure with the jan sales looming it will happen...if i find it, i'll post here..
I ordered this on the 25th, never got a confirmation email...It does say "ready for despatch" in my account. I chose the 5th of January as it was earliest delivery date they had, but I just found out I'm working that day. Do you guys know if they'll change the date? And if not getting an email is normal? It's a big deal for me, my first LED TV...lol
Contact customer services and they will change the delivery date.

Well I just called and they say it's not possible to change the delivery date.
We bought this TV on Black Friday.
For £200 it's brilliant. Picture is perfect.
Sound not as good.
But we bought a bush sound bar from Argos on sale for £23.
Together brilliant.

What connection did you use to transfer audio to the soundbar? Thanks.
I use the headphone socket which cuts out the tv's own speakers......i think this is the only sound output from this tv.

Hi we just used the connections that came with the soundbar.
The soundbar is a bush Bluetooth 50w.
Priced at £23 in Argos.

Anyone looking for this TV they have loads in tesco north harbour Portsmouth.
Thread from the dead!

Bought one online earlier, they seem to come and go throughout the day!

How are owners finding them after a month or so? BTW the stock checker says they have some at Tesco Southampton (Millbrook).
