Seems a cracking price for the tv the only thing I can find on the web of internet is sound quality is pretty poor. Anyone got any real life experience with the tv before I take the plunge and buy it.

Cracking deal as well.

Both knocked out of the Vestel factory in Turkey, but branded as required. Common for supermarket-quality TVs to obtain benefits of scale (one model; multiple branding).

Does anyone know the thickness of this TV without the stand? Only says 344mm with the stand...

Got my GF the 49inch version of this TV for Xmas present... for what it is it's very good. The picture is very decent in both SD and 4K and the menus are easy to navigate, the set doesn't look cheap at all. Downsides, sound is a tad tinny ( not too bad ) and only two HDMI ports (not sure if this set has more)

Ive got this and only 2 hdmi ports. Paid 379 in the last deal. It is fine for me with xbox one and sky q but i arent a tech nerd so aslong as it works sounds ok it will do me.

We bought the lad a digihome 32 inch for his birthday - picture is good but sound is okay/poor , you could add a sound bar if for a large room but okay for a bedroom.

We have this - amazing picture quality but the sound is quite quiet in a large room. Worth the money though and nothing a cheap sound bar can't sort.

You'd think given the thickness of these Vestels (they're usually about as thick as a circa 2006 Plasma TV) they could fit better/bigger speakers.

Thickness on these ones aren't actually too bad but your right, there's more than enough room for better speakers...but I suppose they are able to keep the price down with cheaper/generic components, less HDMI ports etc.
