Can anyone recommend a decent device to maintain a very short beard/stubble?

Philips waterproof 5 in 1 trimmer has served me well for the last 8+ years

Do these cut very close?... what's the novelty here

Not very close no and they tug like tweezers

These are not that good, it runs out of power so quickly. I have ordered few of these from Tic Tok shop, kept them for backup

Just swap out for decent batt. readily avble cheap

    Not very good.
    Bought something similar.
Gives a close cut, just above 0mm. But is only really suitable for short hair, due to lack of power.
Not very robust, would break easily if taken a tumble.

Decent if you are a boldy like me, otherwise invest a bit more.

I am looking for a trimmer which can help me get precise beard lines around the cheeks and neck. I have tried many trimmers and failed. Will this one serve my purpose to get clean and precise beard lines? If not, please can my HUKD brethren recommend a trimmer for that purpose.
    Thanks.

Wahl detailer , expensive but it's why barbers use

Love these and have like three now (all non digi and lesser pattern, but same thing) and just game changers. Been shaving my head for 25+yaers and would take these over my £100+ clippers anytime. For 0 grade, beard shape up...just perfect.

The charge cables and clips i usually just junk mind. Paired with good charger (nitecore for me) and premuim batts (Fogstar is my goto for batts), theres plenty of juice (even default supplied batts have been great).

At this price, you really cant be dissapointed...steals

    Never heard of fogstars..

Been out of the lithium battery game for a decade now.

Had mine about a year and used it a few times as it easily cuts the skin, definitely don't tidy up around the pecker

Cost me £2.77 for the digital version somehow :/

Absolute garbage beard trimmer, cold even at that price

Got one, the cheaper plastic one. Its not a replacement for my actual trimmer, just use it for lines or similar. Just looks good lol

I got one of these from Amazon for around £30 few months ago, still on one charge! Therefore I wonder how these cheap ones perform.

recently accepted my hairlines departure, these are fine you get what you pay for, youll need some glue cause the metal cutting bit falls off the "metal?" body and will rattle after some use... paid itself off after one buzzcut with the 2mm attachment... I wouldnt use this without an attachment especially on your face

I stick with a OneBlade to get a very short, but not scalped, hair cut.

I bought the kemei version..not bad at all

Anyone know of wireless/cordless clippers that cut lower than 0.5mm? 0.3mm would be fine. Just can't find any whatsoever.

Some things are too good to be true.. I fear this is one of those situations. I own one from Amazon which I paid a lot more for and is well worth the money.. there has to be some catch with this seller and the item advertised.. perhaps a scam?
    jinsta's avatar
the fad for these things has been a fair few years now, so price is prob justified. seller has strong sales/feedback too
