Jesus.....

Are Ryanair charging extra if your flippin' luggage is too hot now?

Wow, think I paid something like 20 quid for this a couple of years ago. Great scale, very handy.

Thanks shadow1.

the only problem with these devices is...they are relatively heavy...

Pro tip: stand on your bathroom scales while holding the suitcase(s). Then weigh yourself without the cases. The difference is the weight of the luggage.

Pro tip2; Take bathroom scales with you on holiday.

285g.

Thanks for this.

thanks have ordered

great find OP....HOT

Got one that looks like this and it is indeed excellent, can't find it anywhere in the house though which is doing my head in

Bought a type with just a single stainless steel hook on the bottom,it's absolutley useless.
So ordered one of these - looks far safer to use. Thanks for the info.

One ordered thanks

I've had this same one for 2 years now and its excellent, very accurate and handy and can hold a lot of weight. Lift, wait for beep and display stays on for around 10 secs

Bought one of these a few years ago for £20, it is invaluable. Saves all the repacking of cases at the airport when you find out they are too heavy.

got to agree they are great when you are packing your luggage both at home and on holiday. Easier and more acurate then playing with bathroom scales.

Saves us many times when luggage as been overweight in one case

Thank you - ordered

Great deal (was going to order), but checked ebay - not for everyone, but at less than half the price, I have taken a risk - item 230592443066. Heat to the deal regardless.

Edit: Seems that the seller has put up the price - still a fair bit cheaper, but now £3.50 (the price was £2.50).

Those who have this, how well has it's readout agreed with the airport weigh in scales?

cud not resist it at this price, ordered one. hope it will come handy when needed!

Used one of these before and was impressed - much better than standing on the bathroom scales holding a suitcase! Just ordered 2 more for others.

i bought a set of simple analogue scales off fleabay for £1.49 delivered.

decent enough - tested them with a bag of groceries with confirmed weight and they were pretty accurate - they overestimated the weight by a few % so that's good enough for me.
