might buy one of these. Voted hot.

Heat added.

looks like a good price, has any one brought, what the quality like?

Got one of these when they were last on offer...nice bit of kit but the one I got has no continuity tester audible tone (ie no speaker) ....it also won't give me a reading on my wife's resistance to bedroom antics.

[email protected] bedroom antics
These are ok for the workbench but connections on test leads tend to "pop out" if moved (awkward for car electrics) tho for a fiver u cant really go wrong if it only works as a fuse tester so hot

Great for the price. Heat given.

Mine is poor - I have to constantly move the leads to get a reading, even though I've expanded them to fit more tightly. Rubbish in my opinion, if I'd known I would have kept my £5 and put it to something better.

Aldi were doing one at a similar price recently and that one had a continuity bleeper as well.

Look for one that's got an auto power-off function as well, or you'll exceed the cost of the unit replacing batteries in no time....

This may look like good value but I doubt it. Maplin sell average products at prices that are higher than elsewhere. When they have something that looks like good value, it usually isn’t, its just poor quality. Pity really, it could be such a good business with proper management.

This is a recurring deal from maplin - but a good one.

Dont forget quidco - and if adding to a larger order - maplins own email vouchers.

Voted hot. Plenty were left in store because they were marked full price (scanned at 4.99)
